Large screened in porch with a nice hot tub. Large garage, converted to game/entertainment room. There is a picnic table and fire pit. We had all the cook ware we needed and towels, blankets, etc… what we loved the most was location. Our intentions were to hike in the RedRiver Gorge in the mornings, picnic and kayak in the afternoons. We were only 20 minutes from the Gorge and 5 minutes from Clay City yet we were in a private rural setting for the evening. Just what we wanted! Clay City has the perfect Red River loop to kayak for free and you only need one vehicle to do it. It’s a couple hour loop and the take out lands you just a three block walk from where you put in. Mi Hacienda mexican restaurant was delicious as well! I would go there again in a heartbeat and I wouldn’t bother trying to find anywhere else to stay.
