"From the moment we pulled into the driveway, the 6 of us were delighted with this property. It is a secluded little slice of heaven that gave us the peace we sought. The large front porch was a lovely gathering spot for conversation and connection. We also enjoyed the large open kitchen/living room and found ourselves laughing together as we ate and played games. The seclusion of this spot allowed us to disconnect from the outside world, while the updated amenities helped us to feel comfortable."

"Jim and Mona are the best host! They make sure you have what you need and always go above and beyond. The dog park is a great addition and so convenient. We love being able to walk to town and back. The dock has plenty of room to hang out and just relax in the water. It is covered so if you need to get out of the sun you are able too."

We were down for a rustic honeymoon experience but this was a little too much, we wanted a little privacy, and also we didn’t realize there wasn’t a stovetop or hot plate in the kitchen. "If you read and loved the description of this place, you will, indeed, love this place. It's exactly what's advertised and it has been the perfect getaway for my husband and me twice now. Its a gorgeous location with ample fishing, reading, lazing opportunities. The cabin is adorable, the bed is comfy, the fire pit is awesome! There's so much to love about this place. "We had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend on the lake! The house was exactly as listed. Plenty of space for all. Tons of amenities to keep us busy, if we wanted. And a lovely deck and lawn to just hang out and enjoy the view. Easy access to launch our boat from a nearby park. And ample space to tie up on the private dock. "This is an older property but extremely well maintained. Room was clean and spacious. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Bathroom had plenty of counter space so 2 people can get ready at the same time. A couple of suggestions: get rid of the carpet. It is difficult and time consuming to clean (the staff here does a great job) Replace the low toilet with a 19 inch. Put grab rails in the shower. I am 74 years old and there are many older travelers who don't need an accessible room but would like the convenience of a higher toilet. All travelers would like the safety of grab rails in a shower (or get rid of the tub entirely (who takes a bath in a hotel anyway!) I would highly reccomend this hotel"
