It is perfect for families with children or friends to sit on the large porch and enjoy the mountain scenery. Children can safely have fun at the playground or swimming. The cabin sleeps 6 adults and 2 kids. It has a fully equipped kitchen and a large dining table. It is a short walk to all of the Glen Eden amenities: restaurant, volleyball, swimming/hot tub, or picnic area. You can head down to the river for some fishing or walking. Close to Steamboat, Pearl Lake SP, and other attractions. The kitchen was very usable. It was great for the whole family plus dogs and had plenty of space. Nice hot tub. The upstairs was perfect for my family of four and the two downstairs bedrooms was perfect for the grandparents. The cabin itself does need some upgrades. A few things were broken and not cleaned, but overall it worked. The location on the property is great if you have small kids because it’s right across from the playground which you can see from the front porch. Reviewer Comments: While the location and scenery are perfect, the Honey Bear chalet is not. Twice the electricity went out in the upstairs double bedroom and bathroom due to faulty breakers, I believe. Both times at night,making for dark showers and a tough time turning it back on outside. We had little who thoroughly enjoyed the pool and playground and we all loved going to Lower Glen to be by the river! The staff are super helpful and friendly! We rented the Tavern next door for a birthday party, the food was great and the service excellent. We were entertained by a local, Paul, who played guitar and sang at our party.
