We stayed for a business trip and tagged a couple of days holiday on the end. This hotel is excellently located in a lovely tree lined street, close to all the major attractions. The 360 degree bar gives excellent views of Barcelona.
Barcelona is a beautiful city full of colour and wonder. From the fantastic Gaudi architecture to the beautiful Port Vell waterfront harbour there is something for everyone and on all budgets. The locals are friendly and our visit in November was rewarded with glorious sunshine. A great variety of eating establishments to suit all budgets.
Booking beforehand to get into some of the tourist attractions is recommended e.g La Sagrada Familia otherwise you can queue for hours for tickets. The hop-on, hop-off buses give you great opportunity to see the city and deciding what to get off and see as you travel the routes offered. In the evenings the buildings, fountains etc. are lit up and very striking and we felt safe walking along La Rambla.
"Perfect location for downtown Barcelona and very friendly staff"
Situated just of the top of the Ramblers, this is an excellent location from which to explore the shopping and sights. The main drag is 200m away and with night life that goes on until 6am, the hotel roof terrace and plunge pool are a perfect haven from which to start your recovery the next day.

"Mod hotel in a perfect location with unique flair"
I loved this hotel! It was perfectly situated off the city center (Placa de Catalunya) and the decor was whimsical and modern. Everything looked new. Room lighting was fun - painted glass wall of the shower (NOT see-through) illuminated the bed area when the bathroom light was on. Bed was comfortable and had a custom design unit (not sure what to call it!) at the end which provided storage and a link in to the wall-mounted television. Staff was very friendly, breakfast was very good... I wish I could have stayed longer and really enjoyed the room! (I was there for business).
Nice hotel with metro access outside front door. Walking distance to the Ramblas. Very friendly helpful front desk staff. Modern large rooms with laminate flooring. Close to many restaurants. Fast free wi-fi.
Barcelona's Old Town, the Ciutat Vella takes in the Barri Gòtic and the world-famous promenade of Las Ramblas. The former is the city's medieval core, a maze of atmospheric alleyways clustered around the splendid Gothic Cathedral. Quirky specialist shops and characterful bars and eateries abound. Don't miss the Museu Picasso and the Museu d'Història de la Ciutat, as much for their palatial settings as their content.
