This hotel was in a fantastic location close to the busy centre and within walking distance of the beach!
We had a great stay here, and the staff were fantastic, friendly and really helpful.
The only negative was the bathroom was slightly tired, but other than that it was absolutely great!!
Staff was very friendly and helpful. When our shuttle was late, they offered to make the call for us and talk to the shuttle company. Our room was spacious and had a nice balcony area and a spa tub. Would definitely stay here again.
Close to everything a tonne of room, very relaxing atmosphere and staff were very helpful.
Only tiny criticism was the shower wasn't the best and there was no aircon but the fan was fine in August when we travelled.
Would definitely stay again!

This is a 5-star hotel located on Barcelona's famous Les Rambles, in the heart of the city's Gothic Quarter. Right in the …More
We loved our experience at Grand Central Hotel. The location is perfect and of easy access. The roof top pool bar is amazing and unique!! We already miss our days there!! It's perfect for leisure and business!!
The hotel is an easy walk from the Airport bus drop off point across the square. A great location for walking to the gothic area of the city and close to the Metro for trips further afield. Quick and easy check in procedure. The receptionist gave us a map and good information about the city as it was our first trip to Barcelona. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was just as we asked for high up with a balcony overlooking the fairly quite street. The facilities in the room were good but a little chipped on the sanitaryware. The breakfast was good quality with a good choice of fresh foods but rather expensive.
We arrived at 1030 after disembarking from a cruise. Although there is a secure storeroom for early arrivals, they let us check into our room as it was already cleaned and available. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Clean and modern facility. A very extensive breakfast (buffet & a la carte) is available for 10 euros pp. It may seem expensive to some but is well worth it in my opinion
Barcelona's Old Town, the Ciutat Vella takes in the Barri Gòtic and the world-famous promenade of Las Ramblas. The former is the city's medieval core, a maze of atmospheric alleyways clustered around the splendid Gothic Cathedral. Quirky specialist shops and characterful bars and eateries abound. Don't miss the Museu Picasso and the Museu d'Història de la Ciutat, as much for their palatial settings as their content.
