Wonderful quiet and clean hotel in a great location to explore many beautiful hill towns in Umbria and Tuscany. Breakfast buffet was amazing and, like all services at the hotel, was very friendly and efficient. Citta della Pieve is an attractive and surprisingly interesting hill town which projects a genuine feel for life in Umbria with relatively few tourists. All in all a great experience at Hotel Vannucci!

Beautiful location to stay. The hotel was immaculate, the grounds were beautiful and the town is very quaint. We felt very welcomed. The breakfasts were a stand out too, excellent quality, range and options for all dietary needs. Would highly recommend if you want a comfortable stay with good access to sights in south Tuscany. Travelling to Sienna, Montepulciano and other places in the region was easy and simple.

Relaxing Stay with Outstanding Service

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Vannucci. The staff provided outstanding service—warm, attentive, and always helpful. The bed was very comfortable, and after a hot day, the swimming pool was incredibly refreshing and much appreciated. Breakfast each morning was of good quality with a nice variety, including fresh fruits, cold cuts, cheese, and scrambled eggs. The hotel’s location is excellent—close to everything you might want to see or do in town. Just note that it can be a bit noisy at times due to its central location. Overall, a very enjoyable experience!

A really beautiful character boutique villa hotel with exceptional staff. Our room was very tastefully furnished and very comfortable. Wonderful hotel in a superb location. Made to feel so welcome by all of the fantastic staff from the moment we arrived at reception. Loved everything about it, the rooms, restaurant and both inside and outside areas. Really didn’t want to leave and it felt like leaving old friends behind.

Step into history

We stayed for one week at Hotel Vannucci. It has beautiful grounds with pool and a great location - just a few steps into walled city of Citta della Pieve. This hotel is a beautiful renovated villa with an indoor/outdoor bar and dining room. The breakfast buffet included is superb with fresh fruit, cereals, baked goods and eggs. Most importantly the staff are attentive and friendly. Just a gem of a hotel. Highly recommend.
