The location, the view from the decking and the overall style of the house. Everything was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils- just missing egg cups! The house is in the most perfect location for outstanding sunsets and views across the lake. The house is spacious and comfortable with everything you need. Great walks near by and the tennis courts were a real hit with the children. Lots of places locally to eat as well as supermarkets near by and a well stocked village shop just in South Cerney. Orion were very helpful and well organised with our booking. Highly recommended, will definitely return in the future and recommend to others. It was a really special place to spend Christmas with the open plan living space and views over the lake. Orion gave us a Christmas tree which was a really nice touch. We did lots of walks around the lakes themselves and in and around cirencester which was really lovely. The restaurants and cafes nearby are really good - kids loved the hot chocolates at Carl's cafe and the Gateway Cafe was a very pleasant surprise - even though it was incredibly busy the staff were efficient and professional and the food was really good. Although this property is on a quieter lake it enjoys a peaceful location with a wonderful view and fantastic sunsets. It is extremely well equipped with all possible needs provided for. Our only disappointment was that we found the bedding and lounge furniture uncomfortable. Our personal preference is for softer beds and chairs. Having said this the outside furniture on the decking was extremely comfortable and put to very good use. The property is well situated for all of our favourite Cotswold villages and very close to beautiful Cirencester. Excellent dining can be found within a very short distance including a very good Indian restaurant at Cerney Wick and a superb Italian restaurant at Fairford. The support from Orion Holidays staff was much appreciated. ##### David P.
