Apparently there was a stomach flu going around town that we all came down with. We spent the majority of our stay in bed. Clear communication with the host, they were very kind and accommodating. Thankfully, we had a spacious and clean rental to get over our illness while away from home. The kitchen was our favorite part, lots of space and gadgets for cooking. We received the access code on the morning of our arrival. The house is on a large fenced and secured lot. The furniture was comfortable in both the living room and bedroom. We enjoyed the very quiet location. The cleanliness of the house was not perfect.. We found a wad of hair on the edge of the large jacuzzi tub, and dirt and dust on the baseboards and on the inside windows frames. Some of the towels had stains. Floors and countertops were good. The kitchen was good except for the supply of glasses and a salad bowel. There were only wind glasses available, but we made do. All appliances were in good working order. The ramp leading tot he front door was a nice surprise. Grab bars around the bathtub would also be appreciated. It's a great base camp for visiting Death Valley. Furnace Creek visitors center is about an hour away. Also worth a visit is Rhyolite Ghost town, Near Beatty, NV.
