One of the largest, most intact historic districts in the United States, Over-the-Rhine, has been the location of heightened gentrification efforts for the city of Cincinnati. In recent years there has been a burst of restoration and development, with hundreds of newly opened boutiques, restaurants, bars, breweries, and other businesses. Over the Rhine, is home to Cincinnati\`s best and most numerous bars, restaurants, cafes, parks, and even two breweries in walking distance. We\`re walking distance to Music Hall and the spaces where the Opera, Ballet, and Symphony play. If you\`re here for the baseball game, Great American ballpark is just over a 1 mile walk (or rather, hop on the Streetcar a few blocks away!). We\`re also one of the country\`s largest intact historic neighborhoods, with an absolutely beautiful stock of charming Italianate architecture. Please note that the building does not have private parking, but there is plentiful street parking on weekdays, a garage at Washington Park, and an inexpensive pay lot a 5-minute walk away (0.3 miles walk). Once settled, you can easily walk to or from most areas of Over the Rhine. Alternatively, you can hop on the streetcar (for free) a few blocks away. Just remember your mask. The streetcar will take you all the way north to Rhinegeist brewery (also walkable) or south all the way to the Riverfront and the ballparks. Uber, Lime, Bird are ubiquitous and you can get almost anywhere you want on them. Please read our house rules thoroughly. If you have a pet that sheds, bring lint rollers and remove your pet\`s hair from the property. 3) Stains on the carpets or linens: $89 cleaning fee per item or cost to replace, whichever is higher. 4) Smoking ANYTHING indoors: $300 cleaning fee. No exceptions. Just don\`t do it. 5) There is a $170 re-keying fee for unreturned keys. Unfortunately if you do not return the key then we have no choice but to have a locksmith change the lock. 6) Deep Cleaning: Units found with unreasonable amounts of waste, in complete disorder, and/or “trashed” will be subject to an additional $200 cleaning fee, or actual cost to clean, whichever is higher. Stays longer than 14 days are subject to an additional $120 deep cleaning fee which we will collect through the Airbnb resolution center. 7) Security fees: If we incur security / fire department / police fees or other costs arising out of or in connection with your behavior at the property, then you will be billed the cost. When you step outside, you're within a stone's throw of a multitude of restaurants and the streetcar line. The building itself is historic. The interior features exposed architectural elements. It has an elevator and large patio, two things we require in a VRBO. Only one complaint - not many places to sit inside due to space limitations, other than the bed. The owners and management are charming and responsive. The location is great for a central location in Cincy and walkable to the extreme. (We went to a FC Cincinnati game). The FREE streetcar stops on both sides of the block and will take you downtown. Findlay Mkt is a 'must see' for first time visitors. There are plenty of dining/drinking spots to fill every taste. We especially liked Sam Adams Brewery, just a few blocks away. Also enjoyed the French Crust Bistro. We highly recommend this and the other units in this building. ##### Kendall S. OTR is an incredible neighborhood with a tremendous amount of thought in renewing and revitalizing. Being steps away from the entrance of Findlay Market and walkability to an array of local offerings, I wish I could have stayed longer. The space was clean and a great vibe. If you have a car, make sure to get clarity on check in/checkout and street parking. Host Communication was phenomenal. I will absolutely book again next time I’m in Cincinatti. ##### Jeffrey G. Great location, just steps from the Connector to downtown Cincy. Room was nice and the bed was super comfy. Communication with host was excellent, very accommodating. The location of this apartment was perfect - literally across the street from the Findlay Market. We brought our dog too and she was very comfortable in the unit.
