The host did not respond to our messages after some concern was raised with the police activity next door and the questionable neighborhood. The property manager, Seth, provided clear instructions prior to arrival. The home was clean, in a nice quiet neighborhood, easily accessible and most importantly, convenient to downtown! The floors are carpeted which was great since we like to kick our shoes off immediately upon entering the house! (This is the lower unit, and we were not sure that the upstairs unit is carpeted, as we heard every step those occupants took. But, since we didn't spend much time in the house this weekend, it was okay.) The kitchen is spacious, with plenty of counter space. There is a full washer and dryer in the basement, that is accessible by both units. There is an iron, but we couldn't find an ironing board. We really liked the garage availability, so that we didn't have to park on the street. Overall, we both gave this property a thumbs up.
