The hotel was in great condition, clean and new, the bathroom was great and beds comfortable. My mom loved the shower head. Breakfast was good with hot options. We would definitely stay here again! I have to say, this experience exceeded all my expectations: (online) communication with Margie was pleasant, precise, and prompt; surprising number amenities were included; location was central and accessible; accommodations were very well-maintained, clean, hospitable, safe and quiet. We even had a charming private terrace in the back. The price was extremely competitive. Would definitely use again. In fact, I can't imagine staying anywhere...

"Hotel was undergoing renovations so they transferred my reservation to the St James Hotel at 26 Gerrard St E. This hotel was excellent. Would stay there again. Not sure about Econolodge. Hence the OK ratings."
