We strive to create a memorable vacation experience for every client. One of the ways we do that is by providing $300 of complementary groceries which we put into the refrigerator for you upon your arrival before to get you started this way you don’t have to run to the grocery store upon arrival. We are the only villa on the entire island that offers this amenity. In addition, we will have our Moko Jumbies and Willard John of Guardians of Culture, perform for you as a courtesy, during your stay - if you would like (if your stay is seven nights). Our villa was built as a palace and fortress by the wealthiest man in the world at the time in the late 1980’s - billionaire Adnan Kashoggi. Adnan was a businessman known for his lavish business deals and lifestyle. Kashoggi understood the art of bringing people together, which is why he built his Carribbean villa in St Croix . He had many parties in St Croix at the palace with guests including Princess Diana, Rod Stewart, Mick Jagger, Barbara Streisand and Oliver North. Robin Leach did an episode about Kashoggi on his show Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous also highlighting his villa in St Croix and “The Bachelor” was filmed here in 2010\. In addition to this palace, which we now call The Polaris Pointe, Kashoggi had homes in London, Paris, Cannes, Monte Carlo; a 10,000-acre ranch in Kenya and a sprawling two-floor Manhattan residence. This Polaris Pointe sits atop 20 acres with the most beautiful views of St Croix directly in front of Buck Island. Our villa boasts serenity, privacy and breathtaking vistas making it idyllic for family vacations and reunions. We have a minimum seven day rental for our villa. We have some of the most beautiful views in the Caribbean. On a clear day, looking to the north, you can see St. John and St. Thomas, and up to the far north end of the British Virgin Islands which is 85 miles away. To the south, you can see and hear the ocean which is over a mile away. We don’t have any noise ordinances to concern you, so you can enjoy yourself into the wee hours of the morning if you would like. Our Hot Springs Grandee hot tub was set up in the fall of 2021 and it hosts 7 adults and has beautiful views looking to the south and north. We partnered with Turf Factory Direct out of Dalton, Georgia, the premier supplier of turf to Top Golf franchises around the world and we are building a 2,600 square feet putting green in the Top Golf theme which will include driving bays, a putt-putt golf course with three holes, as well as a chipping green which will allow you to chip onto the putting green. This creates a truly unique experience with our villa. The Polaris Pointe has seven bedrooms and can accommodate up to 12 adults or a maximum combination of 14, adults and children. If your group is larger than 14 or 20, we can accommodate your additional guests at the Buccaneer Hotel whom we have a unique relationship. When you arrive at Polaris Pointe, our concierge, Roosevelt, will greet you and give you a tour of our villa and provide you with a frozen Cruzan piña colada as well as a complimentary antipasto platter or charcuterie board. We are the only Villa on the island that has its own private PA. Jason can come to the villa if necessary or direct you to his Urgent Care location for care. (There is a fee for the service if needed.) We have 12,500 square feet of living space, including seven bedrooms and nine baths. We are innovating the vacation industry with our unique al-a-cart approach to activities. You can - for a small fee - book anything you would like through our concierge service. Some of the activities we provide include the following: \- Jetskiing at Rainbow Beach in Frederiksted \- Parasailing in Christiansted Harbor \- Having our Masseur come directly to the house for you \- Having a private chef come to the house \- Catamaran trips to Buck Island National Monument with Cap’n Carl and his crew. \- Deep-sea fishing with Captain Adam \- Eco-tours through the rain forest and to Point Udall \- Snorkeling and scuba diving. Guests of The Polaris Pointe may have access to the Buccaneer's beaches, golf course, tennis courts (assuming they’re available of course). The Polaris Pointe guests also have access to the amenities of The Fred Hotel in Frederiksted. If you would like live private entertainment at the villa, we can provide Moko Jumbies and fire dancers who can perform for you. And we can have a steel band come play for you as well. We can also arrange for a private chef to come cook! We are happy to help you save time and get straight to relaxing by booking any of these activities for you - we maintain great relationships with all of these businesses. Of course, if you want to book yourself that’s fine as well. We have an onsite car, a Toyota Highlander XLE, which you can rent. Our car holds up to 7 persons and it is available for $575 per week. \- Event fees are required for larger events like reunions and retreats exceeding the original group size and prior permission is required as well. \- House parties are strictly prohibited at our home under any circumstances. \- Event fees are required for weddings, birthday celebrations and other similar events range from $1,500+ for 20 people up to $4,000+ for groups of 50 or more. Maximum event size is 80 people. \- Event fees must be paid within 30 days of the event. Our goal is to provide you with an exceptional and memorable experience for you and your family! He also came to the house every day to check if we wanted him to book any excursions, massages, etc, and keep the pool and property in tip top shape. Anything we needed, we just had to ask. The pool was wonderful, and some used the putting green. We chose to eat in often and loved cooking and eating together. I have stayed at a number of VRBO properties in the Caribbean but have never seen such glorious views. The Belvedere outlook was amazing! The views of the island and the ocean are spectacular from in every direction. Roosevelt was polite, attentive and very helpful. There are a couple of items that need attention. Not all burners on the outside grill worked. We still utilized the grill but with our large group it took a little longer. Some of the bedroom doorknobs were loose and hard to open. Thiis was our first family vacation and we were not disappointed. Although we ventured out to explore the island, were perfectly happy with staying at the house and enjoy the pool and views. We have a few amateur chefs in the family and they truly enjoyed the muniple kitchens. The kindness of our host is undesirable. Roosevelt took care of all our needs, including the best spots for local food and fruits. Bob, the owner also made sure we have everthing in place before our arrival, took the stress out of planning a vacation. However, the cherry on the cake was his recommendation for a catering service for my birthday by the pool. We had the best red velvet rum cake. I would trurly recommend staying at Polaris Point, a little piece of paradise. Recommended to a few friends already. ##### Marie C. Sitting atop the highest point on the island, the road is steep and winding but the views and privacy are worth the climb. We traveled with our family of 7 plus a care giver for our daughter with special needs. There was more than enough room for everyone, and Bob and the team were super accommodating and responsive. All questions and concerns were immediately addressed. It’s clear their priority was my family’s good time. We took advantage of the on-site car rental and explored the island during the days (Buck Island is a must!) and had family movie night in the main room on the giant screen TV. Sitting above it all, it was easy to unplug and leave the stress of work and daily life behind. It’s a very cool property with a neat history (and the teenagers declared it extremely instagram worthy). Thanks for the good time gents! ##### Randy S. Being at the top of the island we were able to see other islands and beautiful views. The property is big enough to fit a large family or group of friends. We had 10 people in our group. We rented the on site vehicle which was very helpful to get around the island. The owner and property manager were very quick to respond to any questions and offer recommendations. They go out of their way to make sure you have a fantastic stay. We did deep-sea fishing one day and were able to cook the fish we caught at the house. They have everything you need at the house. Buccaneer Mermaid beach was a beautiful white sand beach that has kayaks, snorkeling gear and paddle boards. I would highly recommend a snorkeling adventure to Turtle Beach Buck Island which is voted one of the top 10 prettiest beaches in the world. We also spent a couple days at the house, relaxing, swimming, listening to music, playing ping-pong and playing on the pool table. We had a fantastic time and would go back again. The views are AMAZING, especially from the belvedere where we watched every sunrise and sunset. The pool is excellent and there is TONS of outdoor seating both in the sun and shade. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and having provisions there upon our arrival was a really nice perk. Our host, Bob, had recommended a driver, Henry, who was excellent and drove our group around the island for various excursions including a trip with Captain Carl to Buck Island (highly recommend), a nighttime bioluminescent kayak ride (also great) and an afternoon at the Buccaneer resort that Bob had arranged for us. We encountered a few issues with the rental but John from Calabash Realty was excellent and responsive. For the first half of our stay the water in the guesthouse was not fully working, and John sent a plumber to figure out what was happening and got it fixed. There were some amenities mentioned in the listing when we booked that were inaccurate or no longer applicable when we arrived -- the on-property car was not available to rent, the beds were not all king sized as listed, and a few items were in need of repair. The pool is great, and the views are stunning. It's quiet and secluded.Bob, the owner was in regular communication with us and made sure we had all we needed for our trip with plenty of recommendations for activities, meals, etc.But the real star of the house is Roosevelt. He was there to get us from the airport, stocked the house with necessities (booze), made sure everything was set for our arrival, put up with our constant requests, ran to the house one evening when the gas ran out for the stove, and best of all put up a Christmas tree. He is super friendly and seems to have the whole island wired. He always knew how to find what we needed and has a constant smile on his face. He was like instant family.Since this was our first trip to St. Croix we learned a few things you should take into account.Rent a car. We rented the car from the owner, but should have rented a second. The house is quite secluded, so plan your trips around the island to take that into account. Plenty of markets and restaurants within 30 minutes.Driving on the other side of the road was fun, but you get the hang of it quickly. It takes time to get places, as the roads are narrow and windy. If you are a golfer, Buccaneer is a really fun course and the Pro Kenny is the best. But if you are counting on the putting green and driving bays listed, let's just say that description is a bit embellished :)Overall, fantastic! ##### Kenneth S. This was the best week we have ever had as a family. The house and cottage is breath taking. You truly wake up, sit around and go to sleep looking at the most amazing views I have ever seen. We had 14 people in our family. We ate in town but also cooked out one night and it was so fun. I cannot emphasize enough how amazing the entire process was from booking, visiting with owner and everyone who has a part in the house, to being met at airport by one the nicest guys around ever!! The house and grounds were absolutely beautiful !!! The views are incredible, both from the front and back . The swimming pool is the largest we have ever had at a rental home. The grandchildren had a ball in it every day. Bob and Will were so helpful answering all my many questions before we got there and then Roosevelt was there to help us in any way we needed . He was always so pleasant and cheerful and he went out of his way to make our trip perfect ! Chef Brady and Sherlyn cooked delicious breakfast and dinner meals for us. The stuffed chicken, lobster , and pork chops were unbelievable . We took a wonderful day trip with Lyric Sails. Captain Mike and Brett were so kind and accommodating.
