While the property was well located (for us) the grounds and layout were exception & inviting and the unit we stayed in, good, clean and presentable, What seriously let this place down was the restaurant and dining service. The Food was just food, very average, no wow factor and no Love shown on the plate with the presentation. The chef /cooks obviously were having a bad day or didn't care. I suspect the later. The wait staff were un-inspiring, lacked training (or just didn't care), did not smile and chat with us about the food and menu, nor did they provide a wait service to our table that was anything other than mediocre. The wine was plonked on out table in a bucket which we opened and we poured ourselves. Plates, glasses were not cleared away in a timely manner and mostly we were ignored or forgotten while other customers came after and were served before us. We waited for more than 45 minutes for the starter to be served, complaining twice about the delay before service. On discussion with the manager, he agreed to not charge for the starters and discounted the mains, and while this helped appease the situation we left feeling very angry about our treatment as customers and members of the Acor group. We selected Peppers Clearwater as it alluded to be a better class of hotel, accommodation and service. Such a disappointment, - and for us - never to return or use a Peppers brand restaurant again.

There was no bottle of water in the room so went to get it to front desk walking 10 minutes,at 10pm at front desk. A guy said the don’t have it and bar is closed. I know they have it somewhere since it is golf resort so asked to get it. The guy just said bar is closed and didn’t bother to get bottles. I ended up broiled tap water in the room for drinking water. Terrible service, never stay.

I didnt want to leave this long winded comment as i was very excited to stay here but was Very disappointed with the quality and condition that this property was in, massive rips in lounge curtains of sliding doors leading to bottom of ouside deck, the deck rail was broken when i lent on it to look out at the lake it scared me i thought i was going to fall, the place was very out dated most definitely not what was advertised in photos when i made the booking, i was very disappointed with the gentlemans reaction when checking out saying that there in the middle of renovations lol there is still no excuse for ripped curtains and the safty rail that could have been easily fixed, i stated i was unhappy with the state of the room especially seeing my room was one of the most expensive suites there the lake veiw suit, no discounted refund just excuses not even an apoligee. i would have thought the price would have matched the quality. i think its only save in grace for me was the lake and we spotted a few eels around our deck in the morning. unfortunately for peppers clear water resorts i think there are alot better quality hotels to stay in chch and most definitely DOES NOT deserve its 5 star ratting.

Quite misleading, property listed as resort, and it is nothing like resort , golf club next to them is not a part of their facility , there is no health club and no swimming pool or any other amenity Just an appartment with a nice view

While the apartment we stayed in was very clean, it is starting to show signs of dated-ness and is in need of a re-vamp in the near future. We stayed here as we had a function on site. I personally didn't particularly like waking up to myriad golfers already on course but that is the nature of the resort itself, and I get that! However it felt like we were in a fish-bowl. My husband on the other hand thought it was great sitting on the balcony overlooking the lake, watching the golfers play. I felt

Paradise of Peace
It was peaceful and an excellent outlook. The apartment had everything we required, the staff were extra friendly and helpful. We loved our stay and will return. I have already recommended it to others. We would have liked electric blankets but spare blankets did not see us cold

Our room was not as expected and were only advised after we had checked into the room that we would have no TV due to the owner not having paid the Sky bill, and we were not able to be shifted either. The bed was very comfortable, however were woken just after 6am with someone using power tools nearby. All up not a great experience and we did not feel we got value for money. We would not stay here again.

Awesome property- we stayed in the lakefront suite and the view and the suite was awesome. We will definitely stay again here. One thing- the Wifi connection in the suites was very very slow (< 2 Mbps). Please fix it.

The room was rundown and lacked maintenance. Mould in the ceiling in the shower and water damage in the ceiling downstairs. The exterior doors were all binding are hard to open . Ridiculously tiny amount of milk in the fridge .

The room we were allocated (1220) was surface clean, but the fan was so thick with dust that I had to clean it before we could use it. The cutlery was dirty, and the dishwasher and the cupboards were not clean. While the bed was comfortable, the rest of the furniture was really shabby and, worse, included several shin-high tables that had sharp corners. My husband bumped into one such table shortly after we arrived and cut open his shin.

I stayednin the lakeview room and as soon as i opened the doornthenview was absolutely breathtaking. The ed was the right firmness for me. The only negative i would havenis that there were alot of cobwebs on the outdoor furniture and on the ceiling

The place was beautiful, everything we needed to chill and relax without kids. The only downside that hurt us was the very lack of internet connection... If I had to work while being here the internet was hopeless. Which the staff did say they are having problems with the provider. But being away from another country to stay here we needed wifi. And unfortunately they did not have it. Apart from that, was a dreat and enjoyable place to stay
