It's great for families & also groups. On it's backdoor steps are world class walks, beaches & mountain bike tracks. It is a 5 min drive to Lyttelton, a very cool suburb overlooking the harbour with cool bars & restaurants known for it's music scene. The house has 3 levels. On the second floor are 2 large bedrooms, both with king size beds and a bathroom with shower and walk in robe. The first floor has the kitchen, two living areas, and a dining area. It also has 2 bedrooms both with queen size beds. There is a bathroom with a double shower and bathtub, and also a separate powder room. The ground floor has a large lounge with TV. There’s also a table tennis table and board games in the cupboard. There is another bedroom with a queen bed and ensuite bathroom. The laundry room is also on this level. Step outside to enjoy the peaceful sea views, your private infinity swimming pool and inviting hot tub, ideal for rejuvenation and outdoor gatherings. With a variety of outdoor decking levels, an elevated outdoor louvred dining area with sea views, table tennis and an astroturf mini soccer pitch, there is something for everyone here! Please note that some of the furniture is different to the images. Cass Bay is a quiet settlement with breathtaking views of the water, Quail Island and the stunning surrounding hills in Banks Peninsula. It's 15km form the heart of the city and just 2.4km from the groovy Lyttleton which has many cafes' restaurants and bars. Lyttleton is also renowned for its Saturday Farmers Market. Governors Bay is also close by with a popular Hotel Bar and restaurant with a pool and a cafe across the way. There are many breathtaking waterfront tracks in Cass Bay and surrounding areas. It's also a great bay in the summer for swimming kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding. An easy bay to access with plenty of street parking. The pool is not heated year-round. It is only heated during the warmer months, and even then, do note the water temperature may remain cool due to Christchurch’s climate. The spa pool (hot tub) is heated all year around. The fireplace is turned off but there are 7 heat pumps so it’s lovely and warm. The surround sound speakers are neither Bluetooth-enabled nor wired, so they cannot be used. We have a NO party policy with a maximum of 10 guests allowed on the property at all times. Please Respect the Rules as Follows: \- No shoes inside the house. \- No high heels/stilettos to be worn as the timber floor is very soft and can be damaged easily. \- No moving the furniture as it can scratch the timber floor. \- No Products to be used on the timber floor (water only) as it can stain it permanently. Note: Fees will be charged if any damage is done. \- Please put back things you use the way you found it before you leave. \- Please recycle responsibly and at the end of your stay, put the rubbish in the red bin and the recycling in the yellow bins located behind the letterbox at the end of the drive. Outdoors: \- No glasses, glasses or glass bottles to be taken into the pool area. There are acrylic cups, water jug and wine classes provided for outdoor use. \- You are welcome to use the BBQ but please clean it afterwards and leave it in the condition you found it otherwise a $50 cleaning fee will be charged. The cleaning supply is under the BBQ.
