We didn’t want to stay in the city so decided to stay further out. We really enjoyed our stay at the small cabins at the Cotton Patch Landing campground. It was very quiet in the area and only saw a couple of RVs from our front porch. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. Enjoyed our time in the small town of Washington, NC and our drive to and walk along the waterfront in New Bern. Even got out to kayak on the river one day with a rental at the campground store. There was one bedroom with bunk beds. Impossible sleeping accommodations for 70 year olds especially since there is no grab rail at the top of the upper bed ladder. The other beds are in the common kitchen living room. No privacy. No closets. I would only recommend this cabin for a couple with maybe a child. ##### Irene P.
