"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful Stay in a Beautiful Town We stayed here with our two children. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. The location was also very convenient—within about a 10-minute walk to the castle and the main sights. The included continental breakfast was simple but sufficient and a nice way to start the day. "We had a room at the top of one of the buildings (keep in mind there is no elevator and stairs are winding) which was not ideal for tall guests, with its sloping walls and no stand-up shower. The front desk staff was helpful and got our room cleaned right away when we arrived and it had not yet been cleaned (not surprising when check-out is 12 and check-in is 2.) The two hotel buildings are a bit of a walk across the square from each other, but the desk woman walked us over to our building, as we had no idea of the town’s layout and streets. It was stuffy when we arrived and the AC was off for the season; luckily the tiny windows let in some air. We never could figure out how to reprogram the safe, but decided not to use it since it wasn’t affixed to the shelf anyway. The breakfast room is quite small and crowded but there is a decent selection of foods."

"The location of this hotel is very good. We had a room with a balcony. The room was spacious with comfortable beds. The view over the river from the balcony was beautiful. The staff in the hotel were helpful and friendly. Our only disappointment was the breakfast selection. It wasn’t particularly good and the eggs on offer looked like they had been cooked a long time in advance. However, it wouldn’t stop me from staying again if I returned to this beautiful town."
