We loved Shep's Miners Inn! It's a place with history and character. The small town is quiet and relaxing. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it!

They staff was outstanding to me and my family!!! After a long drive and arriving at 5 pm and they were closing the restaurant. I checked in and asked if there was another restaurant in town yes but everything closes at 5. They offered to open the kitchen and feed 4 hungry kids & 2 adults. This I could not believe and I highly recommend their hospitality the owners were just very helpful and feeding us I thank them the very much have they made you feel like family !!!!

Loved the people

Although the brothers who own this place are wonderful and friendly, there were so many things that needed to be done for our comfort. The main problem though, was that it was way too cold in the bathroom! There was no way to take a shower without freezing, so we waited till our next hotel!

I cant believe this is actually allowed to be rented out! I have never been in a room so dirty and stinky in my life! This is an absolutely ridiculous error in anyone booking this dump!

Wow!? We are really shocked! Usually our reviews are pretty good. All of our rooms are cleaned daily. We don't understand what went wrong? We showed you the room before asking you to pay. You looked around and told us you was happy. If we would have known that you was unhappy we would have offered you a different room. Our apologies.

definitely worth the short detour

I love this place! If you are looking for 163 channels and HBO, I'd suggest you roll on down the road to kingman and all the box hotels. This place is unique and worth the small detour: service is genuine, bed comfy, shower hot, food delicious. Bonus is that you are supporting a small community- had breakfast with the locals who were all gery friendly..I'll be back.

Really good surprise, would stop there again !

We arrive late at night after a long drive from Death Valley, we got very well welcomed with fresh beers, and side food. The village is so scenic and quiet. The rooms are very comfortable and clean ! We had a good night there and in the morning we could appreciate the charm of Chloride, it was worth it ! We had the best breakfast of our roadtrip in the Inn served by really nice people ! I strongly recommend to make a stop at Shep's Miners Inn on the way to Grand Canyon, you won't regret it ! The only "bad point" here is that it may be difficult to have WiFi in Chloride but this was not an issue for us.

This place is one of a kind, if you’re looking to escape the city, this is the place!! The man that checked us in was very nice and accommodating, we had a good time at this Inn, and let me tell you... the food at “Yesterdays” restaurant located at the inn was AMAZING! We only stayed one night but it was a great night.
