Yet it had all the modern amenities expected these days. My wife and I stayed in the Premier Suite recently. It was very spacious and had a private Onsen. The living room had a lovely view of the tall trees lining the Lake, and 2 large massage arm chairs to enjoy the sunset view. Dinner was served in the Suite, kaiseki style, on the large dining table. Breakfast was served in a "private" dining area in the adjoining restaurant, and there was a view of the garden area in front of the Lake. The bathroom was large, and had a fantastic shower (but no bathtub). We enjoyed walking around the lovely neighbouring lakeside area and looking at the Volcano mountains. The onsen is nice with an outdoor pool. Albeit nicely done, the hotel is probably a bit as it did not have any USB or similar connectors in the rooms.
