On the ground floor you'll find a large farmhouse-style kitchen complete with breakfast table, an inviting space to prepare and enjoy your favourite meals. There's also a separate dining room, ideal for gathering with family or friends over a relaxed, home-cooked dinner, and then there's the cosy sitting room which boasts a crackling open fire and retains its original floor tiles. To the rear of the cottage is the peaceful garden, perfect for morning coffees or afternoon bubbles. Pickwick is a dog friendly holiday home, suitable for two medium sized dogs. Accommodation This three bedroom holiday cottage in Churchill is perfectly suited for those looking to get together with family and friends, exploring the local countryside and eateries. The house was clean, warm and a perfect size for us (family of 2 adults, 1 tween and a Labrador). Previous reviews mentioned scarce toilet roll and dishwasher tabs but there were plenty for us. Loved the dog treats and poo bags too. We felt the house would benefit from hooks near the back door for coats but this is a minor point. The village is great. The Chequers pub had delicious food and was very accommodating to the dog. Lots of walks around the area too. Centrally located for visiting Burford, Bourton on the Water, Chipping Norton and all the Clarkson’s Farm locations.
