Perfect pet friendly beach getaway located right off Ridge Rd., close to restaurants and shopping. This quaint cottage offers all the amenities, with bright, open rooms, perfect for a comfortable vacation. This house has a large, screened porch, outside shower and fire pit on the patio. Been working hard over the cold months to make Josie's Getaway as perfect as ever. We listen to your comments and are always looking to improve our cottage. For 2025 we have New Queen Mattress, Recushioned sofa and new deck furniture. Linens and towels provided. Pet friendly home $75\. (per pet) will be added to your reservation. 2 dog maximum. only. 2 night minimum in off Season. Reviewer Comments: This beachy bungalow is perfect. We have stayed in this vacation home year after year. Sometime staying multiple weeks a year. It’s definitely our favorite. It’s clean and it’s pet friendly. The homeowner really appreciates the guests. I appreciate that the house is well equipped with everything we need to be comfortable for the week. Linens and towels are provided, even beach towels. This homeowner really tries to think of all the needs from a renters point of view. On an island where there are so many places to stay, this one is such a great option. We call this home our home away from home. We treat it like it’s our home and we even know some of the full time neighbors now. It’s a 10 out of 10 for our family. ##### Dana E. The owners also left a cute gift bag including gift cards and a bandanna for our chihuahua! This cottage was very clean and so beautifully appointed and decorated in a very appropriate beach and pony theme. The kitchen was well stocked with all the basic necessities plus more to make for a comfortable stay. The bedrooms were welcoming with comfortable beds and plenty of closet and drawer space. The bathrooms, too, were very clean and comfortable. The weather allowed us to enjoy the screened in back porch and the backyard furniture as well as a morning cup of coffee on the front porch. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. This rental was a wonderful find and we would definitely return if/when we visit Chincoteague again! ##### Christine J.
