Only steps away, you will find a fabulous playground, pier for fishing and crabbing, tennis and basketball courts, and a boat launch ideal for launching kayaks, as well as boats. Just imagine enjoying your morning coffee on the Deck while watching Herons and Egrets dance over the Assateague Channel. Or stroll down to the dock to try your hand at fishing and crabbing. And you can enjoy a glass of pinot while watching the kids safely playing at the playground, just across the lane from the house. Lovely roomy house and very comfortable. Hosts have thought of your comfort. There were a couple of minor maintenance issues but Seaside was always available and it did not affect our stay. Séjour de 12 nuits en novembre 2025 ### 8/10 – Bien #### Dorothy H. 5 sept. 2025 Points forts : Propreté Overall, an okay stay. Originally, found the matching house beside it on another site. Was searching for the best price then found this listing and booked it. Only when we went to check in did I realize the listing was for the house where the red arrow was pointing, not the matching house beside it that I saw on the other sites. The homes are identical in structure from the outside and based on signage managed by the same group. But the other house has newer paint, a picnic table, 4 lounge chairs outside. The listing and the place we stayed at is the house with the yellow paint and pink door with two outdoor chairs. I attached pics to see. Next time, I would probably pay a bit more to stay at the one that had more amenities and looked more recently updated. I will note that as someone with some mobility issues, the stairs are a bit steep and the only bath/shower is upstairs. The island is one of the safest feeling places I've ever been. House was immaculately clean upon arrival. Management company was highly responsive and very friendly. It is located across from the park and I enjoyed walking around it. We own a home on Chincoteague that won't be open until the end of March and wanted to come check out our property but of course couldn't stay there without water. This home suited our needs perfectly. The only issue we had was using the tv's. We are not tech savvy and had to have the realtor send someone to show us. User error! Having a playground across the street was extremely helpful with two small kids. Only critique was that the twin mattress were slippery enough that my kids fell out of bed.
