"Janice the owner is amazing. She knew that I would be bringing my 6 month old granddaughter and she made every effort to ensure that we were welcomed properly. Children’s book and toys were thoughtfully laid out and it just touched my heart that someone I didn’t even know , cared . The home is wonderful and every special touch showed an incredible attention to detail. The check in process? A+ Easy place to get to and shops are only 10minutes away Would recommend Betty-Lou’s bungalow to anyone"

"Audrey and Tony's place was perfect for 3 families to spend our vacation together. The house had everything you could ever need! The yard was perfect for outdoor games and the patio had so many areas to sit and hangout. The screened outdoor living place worked well for avoiding mosquitoes. There was a fire ban in effect during our stay so we couldn't use the fire pit or pizza oven but they were set up nicely and would have been great to use. Thank you again for the great stay!!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The space was clean, well organized and provided us a safe space to call home. The location was great for us as we travelled for a baseball tournament and the field was only an 8min drive. We had our family of 5 (inc two teens and one Frenchie) staying here and the two large bedrooms allowed for everyone to have space. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. Kalen, the home owner, replied to my texts promptly and was easy to communicate with...

"We had a great family vacation! The lake was wonderful for the kids to swim and explore, kayaking was fun on the calm water. The house was very comfortable and well equipped. The little kids enjoyed the swings and playing games in the yard. Everyone fell in love with the duck that visited every day for treats! Fishing...well...that wasn't so good but it was relaxing. We were quite disappointed the hot tub wasn't available. All in all, though, this was a great place for our annual family...

"Comfortable Beds and a fun home for our kids attending a ball tournament near MacArthur island. The pool and hot tub, plus swings and projector swing made it extra enjoyable despite the rain that weekend"

"Great cabin, suited us very well. Road in is currently being worked on and thus was very muddy and a regular car would have not been able to get to the cabin. Hopefully the work will be done soon. Otherwise everything was fantastic."

"Beautiful lake, cabin was semi-clean, needs a deep clean. Cabin has a strong, musty mothballs smell( not pleasant in my opinion). For the price that we paid per night, I felt that firewood should be included. We had some cold, rainy days and the inside electric fire sound like it was going to blow up so we had to turn the stove on to warm up the place. Barbeque that they provided was not in good repair and was full of cigarette butts."

"Stayed at the Hunter Cabin. Interior was simple and true cabin style. Wifi wasn’t working but not a big deal the cell phone reception was great. Lots of spider webs, dead flies and mosquitos(especially in the windows) & had to deal with one dead mouse and one that was still alive to get out of the Cabin. Overall not bad and a nice adventure. Cleanliness just could be better! "

Bill and Lisa thank you for the wonderfull time, for us and the kids. Showing us the canadian way of life. Fishing, shooting enjoying nature. Kids where crying that we had to leave. "This cabin is very rustic, but very clean. It was 5 min from Likely, great location. Bring a propane tank for the bbq and slippers for the indoors but everything else you need is there."

"I loved the way the owners have a large selection of vhs' to take to your room. The room was clean. The lake is beautifully nestled in a small valley that is not overly polluted with noise from the highway near-by. I was sad that the owners were not able to open their restaurant this year due to staffing issues. But will definitely be back and am looking forward to that Italian meal."
