It is 3-4 mi out of town down a dirt road. It is the front part of Sandie's house, which appears slightly run down. It is spacious and the bed was comfortable. There was a mini-fridge, small microwave and coffee pot but no cups and no hairdryer. It was an alternative to the 2 motels in Chiefland, which apparently are not rated very highly. We spent two nights enjoying "real" darkness without the insistence of city lights. Your private entrance is actually Sandie's front door. She will meet you when you arrive and hand you your keys. Otherwise you won't see her unless you call. The accommodations are clean and comfortable, and Sandie herself is a lovely and very interesting person. Any dog lovers will have an instant bond.
