The interior features a light and airy atmosphere with new amenities throughout. The property backs up to Little Chico Creek with greenbelt on one side and friendly neighbors on the other. Only seven blocks to Bidwell park and downtown! My father and I completely remodeled this space in the Fall/Winter of 2016\. There is a large park at the very end of the street, (some distance away) which I ran thru but there did seem to be some homeless folks in that area. When I arrived the home was clean, stocked with the amenities I needed in the kitchen (including complimentary coffee) and even laundry supplies. The home had an EV charger which was great because our rental was an EV for our trip. The property owner walked me through how to turn the charger on and was very responsive. My only complaint, which is minor, is that the bedroom I stayed in did not have a ceiling fan, which I prefer when I sleep. That said, the home was a comfortable temperature and I slept just fine. The EV charger is a BIG plus! The house is near to everything we wanted to experience. If there is a downside it is the local traffic noise - which is significant 24/7... but nothing the owner can control. Bring your own measuring cups if you plan to cook/bake, because there are spoons, but no dry cups. The wifi also went in an out so we had to use our hotspots a few times as well.
