"We were in the Chickamauga area to visit the Chickamauga National Battlefield and Lookout Mountain. We enjoyed the day we spent in Chattanooga and visited the Tennessee Aquarium, IMAX, Incline Railroad, Rock City and Battle Above The Clouds. This home was the perfect location for all we did in this area. The home is in town with plenty of restaurants nearby and a nice Food Lion. We enjoyed the very clean home, fully stocked kitchen, clean washer and dryer and comfortable beds. Two full bathrooms made it very nice. There were plenty of towels and washcloths as well. My husband and son enjoyed evenings fishing at the little creek located on the property. The only improvement I would make to the house is adding a pull-down shade on the kitchen glass door as the property is located right next to and shares parking with the Lee and Gordon Mills which is a public area and people do stop in to go fishing. Adding privacy at that door would be a plus. The listing does mention a Smart TV, but there is only cable TV. I only mention that because it’s listed in the property description although we didn’t mind not having one. I only had to contact the host one time to get clarification on the WiFi and he answered promptly. All in all, we had an absolutely wonderful time in the Chickamauga area and, if we ever pass through that way again, we would definitely stay at this great home."

"The Fairytale Cottage is a charming and whimsical abode with many antiques and eclectic knick knacks. The property is accurately described on VRBO. The extended property offers lots to see and do! The central air conditioning unit cools downstairs, while a window unit is used upstairs. The bed downstairs was comfortable. The upstairs area is very well lit. On a personal level, I would have liked an option for brighter lighting in the Living Room & downstairs bedroom, and less humidity in the whole house. I know that it is hard to fight the humidity in the valley. Kristi, the hostess, was accessible and easy to communicate with during my visit."

"If I could give this Silo a 12 out of 10, I absolutely would! We have stayed in many hotels and VRBOs over the years, and I am extremely particular about cleanliness. I have honestly never felt completely comfortable staying away from home because of how particular I am. This was the first place I have ever stayed where I felt completely comfortable. That alone says everything!The Silo is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! It is meticulously decorated, spotless, and looked brand new. Every detail was thoughtfully done, and you can tell how much care has gone into making this such a special place.Communication with the host was wonderful from beginning to end. We were provided with so much helpful information about the Silo and the surrounding area, which made our stay even easier and more enjoyable.We stayed here while visiting the Tennessee Aquarium, Rock City Gardens, and Ruby Falls, and it was the perfect place to come back to after a busy day of exploring. One of our favorite parts of the stay was relaxing by the fire pit in the evening and enjoying s’mores. We didn't use the hot tub, but it looked incredibly inviting and relaxing!We were VERY pleased with our stay and will absolutely recommend this Silo to everyone we know. If we visit the area again, there is no question about where we will be staying!Thank you for creating such a beautiful, clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay. We loved every minute of it!"

"A Purely Magical Experience! 慄Staying at the Gamekeeper’s Hut in Chickamauga was like stepping right onto the Hogwarts grounds! The attention to detail in the "organized chaos" decor is incredible—you can spend hours exploring the cozy stone space and still discover new surprises. The built-in scavenger hunt was such a fun touch, and relaxing by the giant cauldron fire pit by the pond made the evening unforgettable. We loved meeting the local farm animals on the 40-acre property and sipping cold Butterscotch beers while watching movies. The space was spotless, comfortable, and supplied with everything we needed. The hosts go above and beyond to make the stay magical and memorable. It’s a short drive to historic downtown Chickamauga and Lookout Mountain, but honestly, you won't want to leave!"
