"We decided to give this property a shot despite the previous review of it not being what it was advertised. We thought that was just some people can’t be made happy because the property looked beautiful from the pictures. Boy, we were wrong. Upon arrival you park in some (what looks like abandoned) church parking lot which in itself is a little creepy. The property was overgrown with weeds. We were given host contact information via email with check in instructions stating that she (Heather) was best reached by text message. So I texted her letting her know that the grass didn’t look to be tended to for quite awhile and we had children with us that would not be able to play in the yard like this. I sent her pictures of the “volleyball area” and the fire pit. The response was her physically showing up at the property and berating us about being “nit picky” as well as stating that if we did not like the grass that we could leave and she’d happily give us a full refund. We were 5 hours from home on Memorial Day weekend and we’re just simply voicing our concerns about the grass to which she replied that she didn’t care and what would we like her to do “Jump on a lawnmower?” We never mentioned the dirty floors/dirty and torn bed linens/sticky kitchen table that we cleaned ourselves because we truly weren’t trying to be “nit picky” After processing the verbal attack from the property owner we immediately booked another property and left feeling unsafe. Still awaiting the refund."
