With beautiful walks on your door step this apartment is a wonderful retreat to make the most of the Sussex / Hampshire countryside. Local favourite Woodmancote Pub is within easy walking distance. Highly renowned by the locals this is the place to go for lunch or evening dinner. I guarantee you will go there more than once! Westbourne and Emsworth also offer an abundance of local restaurants, cafes and pubs. Fat Olives, Nicolinos, The Blue Bell and Spice Cottage are just a few of the favourites. Westbourne boasts an award winning fish and chip shop, ‘Whistler' and the quaintest British Bakery which is a must visit for your holiday goods. When not out making the most of the abundance of local eateries 'The Pines' is fully equipped with everything you will need to effectively self-cater during your stay. Owner was very helpful and even ran out to get a hairdryer as there wasn’t one when I got there. She left a pint of milk, tea, coffee and sugar as a care package, which was really helpful after a long transatlantic flight. There was laundry soap for us to use too. She even offered to take out our garbage and recycling as we had to leave at 5 am to get to the airport on time. My only suggestions would be to put a mirror in the bedroom so you can see when drying your hair. A extra towel rail in addition to the heated one would have been useful.
