The pool is only used for cold water swimming and will not be heated. The cover helps to keep the water clean during the colder months, preventing excessive debris such as leaves and dirt from entering. It must remain in place at all times while the pool is in use. At its highest point, there is approximately 1 metre of space between the water’s surface and the underside of the cover, allowing for comfortable swimming while maintaining a warmer, and cleaner environment. Only issue we had was that the sofa beds were uncomfortable but this did not stop us having a lovely time. Sun loungers would be good chairs very flimsy and not strong , shower didn’t work in pool room water would not get hot so 6 of us all had to use shower in kitchen and in the middle bedroom in thatch the curtains were only propped fell down on closing g , the cottage needs a bit of tlc ##### jayne r. Wonderful garden to relax and enjoy the sun in with a large clean swimming pool. The host had provided us with some complementary refreshments, which was generous, host was also in regular contact providing us with information when needed. The only one issue we had was that the garden door did not lock completely which was an issue for safety at night and we had kids with us. When asked the host did not get back about it so we spent our two nights with a partially locked garden door. Laura who managed property came out with no issues as we couldn’t get Wi-Fi to work , local pub was amazing food The white Swan , 2 minute walk away , location was great not a noisy area even though it was in a built up area , parking for 3 cars on driveway with gates , only comment would like the side gate to be lockable as anyone could walk into the garden and you wouldn’t see them but everything else was great ##### Jason S.
