The bedrooms and bathrooms are extremely small. It was difficult for us to get around in the bedrooms to get ready. This space would be better for 2-3 people. Definitely not 4-5\. The apartment is also on a second level which I don’t believe was mentioned. Overall the space was very clean and the host left us bottled water and a bottle of wine which was nice. The beds were also very firm. The neighborhood felt relatively safe. We were about a 10 min Uber ride from everything we wanted to do. The kitchen was well stocked and the appliances were newish and top notch. Living room and tv were nice. Bathroom has a teeny sink, but given the age of the building (late 1890's) it's understandable. Loved being across from the Chipp Inn (the second oldest bar in the city!) Did not experience any noise from there at all. Great prices and nice locals. We did not have a car and had groceries delivered from the local Jewel-Osco market. Cons: the pictures listed omit how tiny the bedrooms (if you want to call them that, one doesn’t even have a closet which makes a bedroom a bedroom legally) are. The bathroom is comical, the sink which is obviously not pictured is the small thing I’ve ever seen, you can’t even brush your teeth in there, had to use the kitchen sink. Also the owner tried to look nice and leave us a bottle of wine but there was no opener so had to buy one. But here is the MAIN ISSUE: the coded lock to get in the door was broken for over a full day. You couldn’t get in or out. Major problem with safety. Pros: Living room has space for at least 4 adults to hang, everything was clean, location is great.Overall, was not worth 1k for 3 nights for us. ##### Kaitlyn S. It was comforting to know that we had a safe place to relax after a rough day. The fun news...my brother in law had Chipp Inn on his top 10 bars to visit when he ventures down your way. We had no idea when we made the reservations that the bar was across the street. My sister had the pleasure of sitting down at the bar visiting w the bartender about the history of the neighborhood. Apparently there are two directly across from each other and there was a mix up. I did contact the landlord and she fixed it almost immediately. Now for the place. It really needs some tlc but it wasn’t a deal breaker. Unfinished baseboards, bathroom door has seen better days, bathroom mirror light just flickers, needs paint touch ups. One night I was only in the shower for no more than 5min and water turned cold. The property is located across the street from a bar so if you’re sleeping in the front bedroom you will hear bar guests outside smoking and talking all hours of the night. The bedrooms are also very small but doable for my boyfriend and I. The location was great and had a nice coffee shop just a 2min walk away. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance too. There were a few games and books which were nice. Overall, it was a decent place to stay for 2 guests for a couple nights but definitely needs some fix ups. I will say the bedroom off of the kitchen had a very comfy bed! There also was a coffee maker with a variety of coffee but we didn’t use it. Great location overall. ##### Brittany S. Perfect for my husband and I visiting the city and the United Center for a few days. United Center was only a 7 minute drive away.
