Absolutely love the hotel and the staff! Everything was so clean in the room. The staff was always so nice and attentive. I would only recommend that every room has a light over the large mirror because our room did not have great lighting when it got dark outside, a light over the mirror would’ve helped. The shower could also use an additional shelf (there was only one small one). Otherwise everything was great ☺️

LondonHouse is one of our favorite stays. The rooms are beautiful, the staff is wonderful, and the location is perfect to experience Chicago! We did have a couple of minor issues (tv in bedroom and refrigerator not working well), but the maintenance staff was quick to fix what they could and the front desk was so good to work with. The gentleman who helped with my luggage intentionally stopped me each time I walked by him to make sure everything was great with our stay. We hope to return next time we are in Chicago!

The lobby is at the second floor, and coming into the hotel wasn’t very welcoming. Not what I would expect from a nice hotel. When I was checking in the front desk person wasn’t welcoming, and she didn’t correctly put in my information so I didn’t get a text when the room was ready for me. I had to go and ask after it was 4pm.

Very nice staff and great customer service! Would highly recommend the hotel bar, as the drinks and food were delicious! Only issue is that the deposit fee was not returned.

The staff at London House was very kind and readily available. The hotel itself was clean and modern. The only thing that would keep us from staying there again is all of the loud noises that come from within the hotel. For example, loud pipes from our room as well as the rooms that surrounded us. Ventilation noises and random clicking. All of these made it difficult to sleep and showering was super loud on the ears due to the pipes. We were street facing and a lot of emergency vehicles came buy throughput the night, but that is expected when you stay downtown In a large city. Housekeeping did provide us with a box fan which helped with airflow and drown out a lot of the noise. This was extremely helpful for the last part of our trip. Maybe all rooms are not like this. We stayed in 948. Overall the hotel was nice and I would recommend if noises do not bother you.

Staff, right from check in, was friendly and accommodating. Hotel was spotless. Restaurants and bars were beautiful and delicious. We will not hesitate to stay here again.

Arrival very poor, heavy traffic with no area to pull off and no offer of assistance. Check In on 2nd floor with little signage. Television internet connection didn’t work consistently and lighting in the room was poor. $70/ day to park car

Wonderful location for our first time in Chicago. Close to all the downtown attractions. Comfortable bedding, good size room and bathroom. Nice lobby/lounge and a great rooftop bar with excellent views. Staff was courteous and efficient. Perhaps the fitness centre can have some yoga mats.

Since we booked with Expedia, the property did not honor our Gold status with Hilton. Our room wasn't cleaned on the first full day. Management didn't have an explanation. They just told us it would be cleaned the next day.

What I didn’t like was, when we got there they said the room wasn’t ready. okay probably running behind it’s normal. We waited at least an hour for the room to be ready check in was at 4 we got there at 430 , room was ready by 5:20 or so. So we waited at the lobby and sat down 10 minutes pass by every waiter saw us there didn’t bother to asked if we would like to order a drink or even bother giving us to see a menu. Until 5 minutes before our room was ready they asked if we wanted anything. I notice people would get there and they asked them if they wanted anything right away.

This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. I took my Mom here for her birthday weekend and upon arrival our room wasn't ready so Marcus A gave us a free upgrade to a river view room, which was amazing! All of the staff were friendly and very accommodating during our stay. We had spa services which were nice and the afternoon tea which was great. The view from the roof is unmatched. My only issues during our stay were the water temperature in our room was unregulated and would scald you without warning, that was unpleasant. There was an alarm going off in the hallway one morning for several hours before they managed to turn it off and it about drove us crazy. And sadly, and through no fault of the hotel's, there was a loud, violent domestic dispute in the room next to us which I called the front desk about out of fear for the woman’s safety. Hotel security was dispatched immediately and handled the delicate situation well. Overall this is a great place to stay in Chicago with a location central to everything you’d want to see and do as a tourist, had great onsite restaurant and drink options, and a beautiful facility.
