The hotel was very, very clean and new feeling. The room was one of the largest hotel rooms I've been in, with two queen beds AND a legit couch and sitting area. My son and I come to Hyde Park for the U of Chicago medical facilities, and this hotel makes everything much nicer - truly our Hyde Park home. Breakfast is nice and the lobby/dinning is always pleasant - far nicer ambiance than your standard "free breakfast food hall". The staff is so friendly and the neighborhood is a fun area.

Its really sad when you pay for a hotel stay then be told you must pay to park, i truly hated that part the most, and they just spring that news on you without giving you that information at booking cause if i had known we wouldve had to pay to park at the hotel we was staying in i wouldnt have booked, also there was mess left behind in our rooms and in that mess happened to be a used straw in the window that my 3 year picked up and put into her mouth...i was super upset about that especially with the covid mess still about, so they lack in the room cleaning department as well. We left and checked out at 7am definitely was ready to leave.
