It's about 3 blocks from an L train stop, and 1 block from 2 bus stops. Fairly easy to get to and from. It's a 4 floor walk up, so if you can't handle stairs this isn't the right place for you. It was great to have a nice place to rest and hang out between activities. The location worked out wonderfully for the places we were visiting. It’s also a lovely neighborhood and we felt really safe and comfortable there. If you are bringing your car, I highly recommend getting the paid spot that is right behind the place. That worked out great for us. I used the bedroom that has the bathroom attached. There was so much counter/storage space in that bathroom! I could unload my lotions, potions, and other toiletries and not have to live out of a bag the whole trip. Such a luxury! The bed and bedding were also super comfortable! The place has good AC and lots of fans available for extra cooling, which we appreciated. We love fans! The host was so awesome! He was very responsive and supportive when I had questions. The four of us were quite comfortable here for a quick two day visit to Chicago. Lots of good restaurants, etc. within a reasonable walking distance of the apartment.
