For how expensive this rental was, it is not unfair to expect better conditions and accommodations.This unit has so much potential, but is very evident that they did the bare minimum to make this a passable stay. Every light switch was dirty, fire alarms would go off for no reason, and the primary bedroom door would not close due to a broken hinge - forcing it to stay wide open. The shower door seal was half torn off, and there were burn marks on the toilet seat. There weren't enough towels for the number of people it claimed to accommodate, and they were what you would expect from a gym - old, thin, and small. There were no extra pillows or blankets, no cleaning supplies, brooms, or vacuums, and the dishwasher rack was missing wheels. Toilet paper was single-ply, soaps were small wrapped bars that you would expect from a cheap hotel. The living room rug was ruined, the furniture sagged, and the cooking supplies were random and incomplete. When I shared some of these issues with the host they were slow to respond but then asked for pictures. I emailed them these pictures of the issues and they did not respond at all. They then made sure to ask for a 5-star review. Previous guests haven't been very kind to this space w/luggage scrapes and scarred wood floors a bit distracting from the awesome aesthetics. Our first comment, what do guests do here! The kitchen was very functional and comfortable for up to 8 or so adults that don't mind bunk beds or 10+ family members to co-habitate. Main bath was luxurious. I'd bring family here but would be a little embarrassed to put clients up here. The price was right for our needs. Lugging groceries and suitcases are a thing if you aren’t that agile. The apt could use a bit of a “stuff” upgrade - towels, pillows, extra blankets, more comfortable living room seating, etc. All of that was more “fine” not great. Tons of stairs leading to the suite.The only thing I didn’t like was parking not accommodating. The one parking spot is in a tiny shared garage.
