This spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bath unit has a front balcony with plenty of seating looking out to the lake and also a rear deck with additional seating and lake views as well. The unit was recently renovated and has updated kitchen, bath and lots of entertaining space. The unit features in unit laundry as well. The space is approx. 50ft from the beach and is walkable to the Loyola train stop, as well as a variety of bars and restaurants along Sheridan. Also, there is a Starbucks on Sheridan. We supply extra linens, bath and cooking essentials and laundry detergent. We also have lots of games and books in the living room and during the warmer months, we have kayaks and paddle boards available to rent. So much to love in this amazing space! Exterior security cameras are present at the property. The camera locations are (2) in the front of the building, (2) on the west side and (2) in the backyard area of the property. There are no interior cameras in the unit. Also, up to 2 well behaved pets may be allowed for an additional $100 pet fee per pet. It's a short walk from the L station red line and steps from the beach. The host provided towels and beach chairs, which made packing for our trip easy. The beach was clean and has lifeguards, it was never overly packed, even on a 95 Saturday. The apartment was immaculately clean and well stocked with kitchen utensils. It’s a perfect way to experience Chicago. The beach is steps away, the neighborhood is beautiful and its blocks away from the L. We went downtown everyday and caught a game at wrigley and never had to get our car out of the parking garage! If you are driving to Chicago a parking spot is a must, we never would have gotten a spot out front. The only suggestion would be a shade on the front porch, on the east side (beach side). The neighbors have a sun porch and they don’t use window shades so it felt a little weird hanging out there when they were napping but didn’t stop us! Less than a 5 minute walk from the Loyola stop on the red line. It was super close to the water! The neighborhood is quiet at night. The place was super cozy and clean and the host was extremely kind and responsive! Everything was amazing! We couldn't have asked for a better weekend or a place to stay! Just steps to the lake and a beautiful path. And a couple of blocks to coffee, sushi and all manner of food. The Whole Foods is walking distance. the house is beautiful, well appointed, and warm.
