The host kept in touch and provided detailed step by step instructions for check-in as we were arriving after 6pm. We collected keys without incident. The apartment was clean and spacious with washing machine and rack to dry clothes which was a bonus. I was also able to check in a bit earlier which I appreciated as I had to move from my hotel and check out time was at noon. I also appreciated that there was netflix available for lazy mornings and there was laundry detergent for the washing machine. The gym was good for a condo gym. The pool is nice although it was super busy every day so I never bothered to use it. There is a coffee shop in the main floor lobby as well and 711 just next door. The location is a close 9m walk to the night bazaar. ##### emma ### 6/10 Okay #### Luke Dec 3, 2024 Liked: Communication Disliked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities First off the host was amazing, really nice guy but the room we got felt like a bait and switch, it looked almost nothing like the photos, or perhaps the photos were taken 10 years ago. The room was very outdated, stains on walls, floors were dingy, rug was pretty gross, wall paper peeling, awful smell in the room, the furniture needed replaced badly, the furniture was way past its life expectancy. The blinds in the bathroom were completely rusted out, stains on curtains. Location wasn’t really close to anything other than the night market (not the Sunday night market) but you can really only do that so many times. Aside from that, not much else near by. Old town is a 30 minute walk. The roof top pool is way smaller than it looks and it only has 8 chairs, there were so many people up there that people were just laying on the ground and the pool was full of people, not really a great amenity for the size of this complex. Additionally, the pool was super discolored, unsure if it’s supposed to look that way but it appeared dirty to us. The room needs to be updated or the listing needs new photos to accurately reflect its current condition so people know what they are renting. The price for this unit in comparison to others we rented in town is way higher for lesser quality.
