Si seulement nous pouvions y revenir plus souvent (mais cela fait un peu loin depuis Paris !). Le personnel était souriant, attentionné, prévenant avec notre enfant. La suite était magnifique, la décoration luxueuse et élégante, j’ai apprécié la vaisselle et objets en céramique issus de l’artisanat local. Nous n’avons jamais aussi bien dormi. Le lit pour bébé était de très bonne qualité également et douillet. Nous avons amplement profité de la piscine du rooftop de l’hôtel et des canapés confortables, serviettes moelleuses, musique lounge et délicieux cocktails dignes des meilleurs bar de Paris. La vue est imprenable sur la montagne, la rivière et les couchés de soleil. L’espace proche de la rivière (restaurant et piscine) est d’un charmant ! Vraiment un petit coin de paradis, nous n’avions plus envie de partir ! L’hôtel est aussi très bien situé car, bien qu’à l’extérieur de la ville, entouré par de super resto et boutiques pas touristiques. Nice to be recognized by the staff to start with. The hotel has a limited number of rooms - 20 at the most. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the Ping river - the same one as last time, so I didn't take room pics. The room is mostly in white. Bed is very comfortable: I always sleep very well here. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast at the restaurant is copious with a selection of 4 different choices. The menus have changed and I think the restaurant is now run by a different team or company. Less Western food, but excellent and less pricy Thai food (I did however miss the masaman curry that used to be on the menu). Certainement parce que c’était la basse saison et donc peu de clients à l’hôtel. La piscine du rez-de-chaussée était inaccessible ( une banderole de travaux l’entourait ), la piscine du toit qui donne une belle vue sur la ville était sale ( eau trouble et jaunâtre par endroits), les enfants n’ont pas voulu s’y baigner. Grosse déception donc. De plus on ne pouvait plus y accéder à partir de 20h pour boire un verre en admirant la ville le soir. Les chambres étaient spacieuses mais pas le confort d’un 4 étoiles. Déçus également. Le personnel quant à lui est très gentil et serviable. Le restaurant est joliment décoré donnant une belle vue sur la rivière.
