I've never enjoyed such soft and comfortable beds at a hotel in Chetumal before. The staff tried their best to understand me as me or my friends could not speak Spanish. The attendant was attentive and help us get to our rooms with ease.

I did not like the attitude of the reservation staff checking me in Naomi. She was very rude and unprofessional. We arrived at 2pm Chetumal time and she did not even want to hear anything I had to say she was like come back 3 no room is ready. Very very very rude

I stay here once a month. The staff and facility is perfect. Clean, extremely comfortable, and the staff is excellent. Nice pool and restaurant. Great location.

A good overnighter.
It was as advertised, a good old fashioned restaurant, a front desk that gave us a wake up call on time, and called a cab that arrived early. Just clean and lubricate the sliding glass door to the pool.....it was very hard to slide open and shut!

I went into their big restaurant which was empty at the time and had the best coco shrimp ever. It was delicious. The gentleman at the front desk walked me through the Mercado to help me change some dollars into pesos very nice. Very good place to stay.

Would Stay Here Again
Great hotel in prime location for moving around the city. Near central market and Mayan museum. Room quite comfortable, beds comfortable and sheets spotless. Bathroom was also very clean.

A capital place to stay
We stayed in a junior suite. It was clean and roomy.The staff is always friendly and helpful. We have stayed at Capital Plaza several times and always enjoy ourselves. If internet is important to you I should warn you that it is pretty bad at times. Depending on the room you are in the internet signal can be weak and, at times, non existent. I think that is the single greatest need for the hotel.
