Front desk person was rude and unprofessional. The lobby smelled awful. The room had a an unpleasant mildew type odor that became worse when we turned on the AC. The bed sheets had stains and appeared to be unwashed. The walkways and stairs were dirty and unkept.

First the heater didn’t work It spewed out cold air But the worst thing: at check in the clerk asked us to give the deposit in cash I had never had this before but my partner gave him the cash On the last morning we went to the office about 6:45 am to get our deposit back as we were leaving At first no one was there My partner yelled for service several times came out to tell me no one was there and then went in and yelled again I went in and suggested I call She went outside to see At that moment the clerk came out asking was that you yelling? I said yes No apology for not being at the desk he just made me feel like we were a pain Then we asked him for the 100 He said there was no record that we had left cash I suggest he call the clerk that was on when we checked in He kept sorting through things and finally found the record He never said he found it but we could see the paperwork in his hand He never apologized for the wait He told us to sit down My partner didn’t want to sit down he told her a few times to sit down I said maybe she doesn’t want to sit But she did sit down He said he would be right back my partner asked how long would it take because we were in a hurry He said you can leave right now! At that point I lost it and said you guys screwed up so you don’t have to have attitude He said I didn’t give any attitude I have to check the room and then said something about sitting down again (we were both sitting down)

Don’t Pick Me!!
This location was inexpensive and dog friendly, but the first room given to me smelled eye wateringly bad. I requested an another room, which the clerk gave me without a question. However, the keys given me to that room didn’t work (apparently a problem with the door latch). One of the keys to a third room did work, and it didn’t smell bad. Overall, their motel needs an update. The furniture and fittings in the rooms are dated and worn.

NOT BAD NEEDS A LITTLE TLC!
I WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN. THE HOTEL COULD STAND SOME IMPROVEMENTS. PRIMARILY REMOVE CARPET UNDER BEDS. IT WAS OLD AND DIFFICULT TO SANITIZE. SECONDLY, THE BEDS AND PILLOWS COULD USE REPLACEMENT.

Extremely unsanitary with combative staff
The health department is being notified about this establishment. There was a colony of cockroaches in our room on the second floor. My fiancé was having a really bad, asthma, attack and was continuously using his inhaler, so we checked out the heating an air conditioning unit, just to discover that the filter was unbelievably clogged and looked like it had not been changed in over a year, not to mention that there was black mold, spores in the unit itself. My fiancé went to inform the front desk of all this, and asked if we could switch rooms to a room that was up to par on the guidelines of the health department, and the guy was confrontational, denying us a new room, then, proceeding to tell him he was calling the cops to make us leave.

Cable didn't work, we were told the provider didn't know what the problem was or how to fix it. I didn't see any service vehicles at the hotel. Have to believe that was not true. Killed 3 different bugs in my room, not sure what they were. Deadbolt in door jammed so key card wouldn't open door

Upon arrival the desk manager seemed very unhappy to be there, there were bugs in the room, the beds were from a flinstones movie and the wash clothes were stained like they were used but laid out as clean

The owner who was at the front desk was completely unprofessional and out of line in every way. The owner said he had every right to charge my card at 3pm on the dot instead of waiting til I got there. He was easy and quick to cancel my reservation as soon as I asked why my card was charged before I arrived. I still have not received my refund. I would never recommend ANYONE to stay at that hotel EVER!!!!!

We tried checking in at 11pm, there were loud people, drinkers and as soon as we put our foot on the room the were crockoaches on the floors, walls, even on the pillows!!!!!!, flies everywhere... it was TOTALLY DISGUSTING!!!!! I couldn't stay there more than 3 seconds, when we were back to the front desk the receptionist guy was gone for 25 min, we were exhausted and extremely frustrated, PLEASE avoid this place at all cost if you don't want to have such an unpleasant and traumatizing experience specially for my girlfriend who has a phobia to crockoach and has asthma. That place should be banned, and WAYYYY TOO EXPENSIVE for what it offers which is not worth AT ALL!!!! Do yourself a favor go avoid that place and go somewhere else!!!!

all I will say is you get what you pay for. I don't know what I was expecting but I should've known better than to book at a place that has outside door entry to room. that was my mistake. I had 5 unexpected guests that annoyed me the entire time I was there: flies. at first I thought it was 2. but when all of the room lights were off and the TV was on, they all landed on the screen. UGH. I made it through my trip so I was grateful for that.

A surly Asian Indian (do they run ALL the low priced budget motels?) failed to greet my reserved arrival, challenging me to provide my credit card and ID. He as much threw the badly stained packet of key cards at me (the key cards only worked by sticking them in and out over and over again, some told me after I had to ask as if EVERYONE knows that). The room was tiny. As was the TV. There was a fly, but no fly swatter. There were only 2 electrical outlets, one that didn't work. The other I had to hunt for, beneath the compact refrigerator. There was no pad of paper or writing utensil. When I asked the manager fo borrow a pencil you would think I asked for gold. I will never ever stay at any Red Roof after this horrid experience and I urge no one reading this to go to this location in Aberdeen!!

I really liked the location and the staff was very nice. The room itself was a bit dated and could’ve been cleaner. It was a good value for the money spent and I would recommend it for somewhere on a budget.

Large swarm of ants at the check in desk and counter. Strong odor in the room and many cockroaches. Motel is also used for homeless whom hang around all hours and ask for handouts. Abandoned cars in the parking lot. Small bath towels and no housekeeping.
