A perfectly pleasant place to stay with friendly, helpful staff. The only thing i thought was a bit odd was that there is no elevator. The hotel is only two stories though, so this is relatively minor unless you need handicap accommodations.

As this was our first stay at a Best Western we found the property to be adequate. The room was clean and quiet and the bathroom had been nicely updated. Brittany was at the front desk and checked us in to a 2nd floor room and said Door 3 would be best way to enter. After we navigated the goose pooped filled parking lot we entered Door 3 and proceed down the hall with all our belongings to find no elevator. When we got to the front desk to ask about the elevator, Brittany gave a smug smile and said “oh there isn’t one”. We left the room in the morning and left a tip and a note to ask for more towels please. When we got back around 6pm the room had not been entered or cleaned at all. I went to front desk but no one was there. I heard voices in the laundry room and found Brittany chatting with another woman who was folding sheets. Brittany said if I wanted towels or room cleaned I would have had to request it when we checked in. She said her staff had left and no one could clean room and she begrudgingly gave me some towels that were behind the front desk and I carried them up the stairs and back to my room. I have never encountered such nonchalant and poor service from a front desk person. After she told us that our room wouldn’t be cleaned, a courteous and kind option might have been to offer us a room across the hall for the next night. It was a Sunday and most guests had checked out. Would I stay at a Best Western again? Sure. But not with Brittany.

We are truly sorry to hear that you where treated in the manner which you where by a staff member at our location. This is unacceptable behavior and will be addressed immediately. Although the statement about housekeeping is true, that it is a request only service. These things should have been expressed to you upon check in so that if you had chosen for housekeeping service we would have been more than happy to take care of that for you.We hope that you will give us another opportunity to see how wonderful our location truly is .

Best hotel ive stayed at in a while. Normal breakfast options. Pool is huge and not freezing. They also had a sauna. Overall dont have anything to complain about.

We chose this hotel because it was close to Indiana Sand Dunes NP and it was one of our stops to watch the total eclipse. The parking area needs to be more well lighted (we checked in at 2200), because we couldn’t see the numbers on the building and it was difficult to park because we had a large truck. The needed lights would have made the parking area safer because you are near a highway and train tracks. Otherwise the beds were comfortable and we got a great night sleep after driving a long way from Bruce Peninsula NP in Ontario, Canada. The breakfast was decent, it had a variety of protein, carbs, fruit and drinks, enough to sustain us through a vigorous hike at the NP. We would definitely stay here again. Also the staff was friendly and helpful.

It’s like a hidden gem. The property resembles a ski lodge area around a lake. It has an indoor pool and sauna which is a plus, for the kids.

It was a fine stay. Lots of construction happening and updates occurring. Breakfast was minimal for the amount of people. Just seemed short staffed.

Was here for a wedding at Allure of the lake, which was walkable distance (big plus after a night of drinking and dancing.) Clean, albeit a bit out dated, but very good for the area imo. Nice pool. Hot breakfast. Our room had 2 queens and a pull out couch so fit 5, which is hard to find. would recommend.

Hidden Gem
It was fantastic! You'll absolutely love the pond! Many rooms that have jetted tubs in room. It's a beautiful hidden gem! Iespecially encourage couples to go and reconnect as my husband and I did. The place is absolutely beautiful ! One of the cleanest hotels I've ever been in and a very helpful friendly staff!

The check in was a bit slow -- not the fault of the staff. Computer was extremely slow. Room was nice and big. Beds good. We were lakeside, nice view. Nice pool to take a dip after a day of driving. No hot tub, but the pool water was a nice temp. Good selection for breakfast. Bathroom floor could've used a bit of a clean but was okay. Looks like they're getting ready to do some remodeling but I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing pool
This is definitely a summertime property, right on the lake would be perfect for then. Winter not so much. Pool is huge and clean and the kids had a blast in it. Breakfast was empty by 8am and not replenished because there was only maybe 4 rooms occupied the same night as us. Lots of renovations going on, so the hotel shared spaces were freezing cold due to construction having exterior doors open. Staff was friendly enough. Parking was easy. Room was very clean but could use more updates around the windows, patio doors, bathroom flooring. Very spacious room.

Overall OK. Breakfast was ok. Be sure to get there by 8:30. Wish the breakfast was til 10 on the weekends. Towels were thin and small. Pool towels were the same. Service was excellent and friendly.

Good outweighs the noisiness
Staff was great and friendly! Room was spacious and clean. Couple noise issues: train is nearby and blows its horn in the middle of the night. A/c unit clanks at times. There is no way to turn on the bathroom light without also turning on the loud fan. Nothing a pair of earplugs couldn’t fix.

Wedding stay
Nice for an older hotel. Nothing special but the people were nice, rooms were clean. Had a wedding to attend and the venue is in the same plaza so it was very convenient.
