On balance it’s a perfunctory and reasonably priced place to stopover on longer journeys,
The rooms are decent enough with crisps and small water bottles provided, my issue came when I arrived late to find out there was no parking(although advertised with free parking) I was tired and wanted to lay my head down, one of the staff rather curtly suggested I park on a nearby road, I wouldn’t have booked the hotel had I been made aware of this before hand.
To be fair the receptionist was much more understanding and had I spoken to her first I may not have been so irked by this…
Room was perfectly nice, I was alone and chose the cheapest double, the bed was comfy and I got a decent nights sleep.
The shower in the morning however was cold, I’d say cold water is a big mark down personally as it’s a fundamental of a hotel stay over.
So - if you are arriving on a Saturday and leaving early on Sunday I’d suggest making sure both these things are taken care of at least checked before you book.
