This hotel looks nothing like the photos on the website. I am partially disabled and there is no lift. No offer of help with luggage as you have to carry it upstairs. Got to the room to find no hot water so couldn't freshen up before going out. Had to wait for maintenance which to be fair arrived quite quickly. Had to wait to see if it could be fixed which it could not so had to then move to another room. Reception slow to answer when ringing to explain problems, often times nobody behind reception and kept waiting along with other guests. This was the morning reception. Also got snarky when my partner complained about all the waiting and problems we were having and continually having to go up and down stairs and long corridors to seek assistance instead of sending a member of staff to assist us. Tried to use the hairdryer which you couldn't plug in due to sockets too low down to cabinet. Found another socket only to find the hairdryer didnt work. Decor old and tired. Definitely needs a refurb. Plus points, decent bed. Nobody on reception again when checking out so just left key card on counter and left.

Unfortunately during your stay we had a significant boiler failure which took some time to get sorted, this took a number of the team away from their areas of work to try and remedy as quickly as possible for our guests, I am sorry that this delayed responses to your queries. Nearly 50% of our bedrooms are located on the ground floor and had we been aware of your requirements would have ensure one of these rooms was allocated for you. Coffee machine leaked when used, no seat to sit and use a mirror! Lovely attentive staff. Not made aware about children’s swimming lessons happening in the pool on an evening. Limited food menu for evening meal. Breakfast absolutely lovey both mornings

Stay was great , friendly and helpful staff all round and pool was lovely, my daughter certainly enjoyed it. Only issue we had was the fan in our room wasn’t working but it wasn’t an issue. Room was clean and well stocked with towels etc

Was nice, decent for the price. Bed was comfy, bit harder than usual but still okay. Big TV that worked well, couldnt get to the HDMI ports to plug laptop in which was annoying. Windows that actually open which are great. Biggest issue was with the shower/tap water, pressure was all over the place and took up to 10 minute's at times to get warm.

The staff were amazing throughout. Experiencing the woodland pods is a must! Food was delicious and the setting extremely romantic

On arrival we spoke with the receptionist who was rude and blunt stating she needed to complete her speech before I could ask any questions. The room was clean and tidy but the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. We booked a double room and when we checked the beds they were two singles pushed together. As a result of sleeping in the bed we both woke up to find we had several bites on our body and I had a rash on my leg. Breakfast was very good and they catered for all diets and tastes. Overall we were very disappointed with the hotel and we won’t be staying there again

First time staying at this hotel and will definitely go back, the staff were very friendly and helpful,the room we had was immaculate and the bed was the best hotel bed iv slept in and was the best sleep i had, hsd in a while, we had a few hiccups while dining in the restraunt but the head waiter rectified them quickly, loved that the gym and spa areas were included in your room price

Nice Stay
Stayed for two nights. Staff were absolutely lovely and really helpful. Double room good size with a king size bed which was very comfortable. Parts of the room a bit dated but no issues with cleanlieness. Buffet breakfast was very tasty and good choice. Only issue was noise coming from other rooms. We did stay at a weekend durong christmas, so lots of nights out. However at times would feel people are in the room and when entering rooms next door it would sound like someone coming into your own room. Not great at 4am in the morning.

Two night stay
Two night stay, no issues to report. Room was fine and used the facilities which were good. Bar area and breakfast good. Hotel is a little dated but it’s completely fine for a stay and I think some of the reviews left are unfair.

Bad overall quality and customer service
To add insult to injury, the service at the hotel's restaurant was also subpar. During our dinner, we had to wait an unreasonably long time for our food, and we were frequently left unattended by our waiter. My wife even had to get up and find someone to take our dessert order

Average but Clean and Friendly
Rooms a bit tired, but clean and adequate for our stay this time. Pool eas a bonus for children, and they ate breakfas for free which was amazing Very helpful, friendly and accomodating staff Thank you and Well Done.

Hotel was nice and clean, lots of choice at breakfast, continental and full English,self service but eggs could be cooked to order. Had evening meal in the hotel both nights, the Chicken and mushroom pie was very tasty! Swimming pool, sauna and hot tub all available to use and we’re very good. No problem with parking lots of space. Although no heating on rooms were warm, luckily windows opened!

Liked it all, except for restaurant. Not a very inspiring choice & quite expensive. However plenty of good eating places nearby. Comfortable clean room & lovely staff.
