Great location
It was in a very good location to get into shopping area or down to the river. It was very clean the only downside is the bathroom it’s very tiny so if you stayed for more than 1 night you might struggle

Recommended!
The room was very clean and comfortable, with a bottle of milk in the fridge for a much needed cup of tea. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and the place itself is mere minutes walk from the city centre. Fantastic place to stay, would stay there again.

Excellent location for city centre. Generally quiet area with just a bit of late night revelling from pub next door. Comfortable bed and welcome hot drink making facilities. Shower room too small. The owners kindly carried our luggage upstairs

Nice location in a good town. Lots of food and shopping within walking distance. Historic stuff to see. Parking was a little hard in the day but worked out okay overnight, short walk to a free lot.

The owners were so friendly and very helpful with directions. This is a GREAT location. You can walk to the city center in just a few minutes. Loved that!

A little gem of a place.
We’ve stayed a couple of times in Chester but we’ve stumbled upon this little gem of a place. Perfectly located, everything within walking distance. Lovely warm, comfortable property with a huge bed and very clean. We were welcomed with open arms by Alison & her hubby and were made to feel really welcome. Will definitely be back to stay!

A gem within the city walls
Great location to be able to walk everywhere within the town. Nice size room. Bathroom sink was small but a shelf above the toilet was available to store toiletries. Good breakfast choices as well.

Practical as it's right in the town centre. Nothing apart from that for me. From the outside it looks well to do but this is where it all ends. The room is far from suitable even for one person. Very small, carpet is very dirty. I use B&Bs in Chester often and this is one I will avoid in future if I can. Double bed was comfortable and coverings looked clean but with other observations I wonder if it actually was clean. Not very impressed.

Owner was happy to accommodate my late arrival and gave clear instructions on how to let myself in. Room clean and comfortable. Glass refillable bottles of water and milk in the fridge a nice eco friendly touch (and great if you or children like a glass of milk to drink too). Breakfast very nice. All in all great value for money and a pleasant experience for my short work trip… would use again.

We loved this charming guest house. The staff were friendly and helpful, it was spotlessly clean and the breakfasts were lovely and cooked to order. It is very central and right by a hop on hop off bus stop. The only negative for us was that there was no lift, but this would not be possible to install in this traditional building. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would strongly recommended Grosvenor Place Guest House.

Fantastic location for exploring Chester
Great stay here, lovely warm welcome from the hosts and wonderful room. Loved the little extras like fresh milk and water in the fridge. Would definitely recommend staying here again.

Very cute little place with a homely feel. My room was as I imagined from the photos online. Clean, smart en-suit and refreshments provided with water and fresh milk in the fridge. Kind and friendly folks and very happy to help. Very good location, near the centre.

Lovely little guest house in the heart of Chester
The guest house was easy to find, and all the staff were so helpful and friendly. We got in before check in and were able to leave our bags there, and were given our key to come back whenever we wanted. Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious, the room was clean and lovely - it's not a room at a 5 star hotel, but it's wonderful for the price! Bed was comfortable and shower was hot. As long as the window is closed its nice and quiet, and there's a fan provided. Fridge is a bit loud but I appreciate that it's there, and the provided water and milk was a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again!

A home from home guesthouse,welcomed by Imogen who explained the access codes before showing me to my room. Breakfast was very nice,set you up for the day. Grosvenor is perfectly placed to access all areas of Chester.Town centre 3mins,Racecourse 15mins,pub next door(Saddle Inn) and one at the bottom of the cul-de-sac The Golden Eagle.Overall a lovely stay and I will be back. Small but perfectly placed.
The location was amazing, within a stones throw of everything. The room was small but nice, had everything we needed. I didn’t catch the young ladies name who was in charge at the time but she was amazing, looking after the rooms, breakfasts, everything on her own. We had a couple of minor issues which she dealt with efficiently, I can’t praise her enough. 😺

Lovely stay. Would go again
Host was lovely, really helpful. Able to leave bags before abd after checkin/out. Showed us where to park for free. Breakfast was lovely. Be mindful its an old house so stairs are steep if you have any difficulties. But clise to everything.
