90 miles from downtown ATL.  
Wildlife, hiking trails, waterfalls, and the Toccoa River are close by for your nature conveniences..... but so is downtown Blue Ridge if you prefer other social settings.... or better yet, simply relax on the expansive deck and take in the view. This property is conveniently located 5 miles from the Toccoa River tubing companies. Just a short drive through the forest and you are there!  
Rent a tube, and they will shuttle you to the drop in. It's kid friendly (mellow), and so beautiful.  
  
Please read the entire rental agreement before booking. We ARE NOT strict hosts, but the rules are important (especially when it comes to fires).... This is a remote location on a mountain, so any negligence or irresponsibility with the fire pit, fireworks, or smoking could be extremely devastating to the all surrounding forestry. Other than a garden hose and fire extinguishers, there is absolutely no way to put out a fire should one get out of hand. Smokey the Bear says: "ONLY YOU can prevent forest fires."

\*\*\* For advanced off-roaders: The Cohutta Wilderness is 37,000 acres of wilderness to explore and just west of Cherry Log / Blue Ridge.  
  
\*\*\* PLEASE NOTE: ARRIVAL AFTER DARK HAS PROVEN TO BE EXTREMELY DIFFICULT FOR MOST GUESTS. A large majority of guests who arrive at night get lost, or get stuck, or both.  
PLEASE.....If possible, try to arrive during daylight. DO NOT rely on GPS the last 2 miles. It will take you to a different location.  
Use the directions provided after booking. If you absolutely must arrive at night, please let me know so the deck lights can be turned on in advance (flood lights & Christmas lights).  
  
WINTER BOOKINGS:  
If inclement weather consisting of heavy snow or ice is in the forecast during your stay, your reservation will be cancelled with a full refund. The mountain terrain is most definitely a dangerous liability during snow and ice. Also, the cabin IS NOT equipped with a back up generator if a power outage takes place during a snow / ice storm.

#### Fantastic view

We had a great last minute trip before school started. The view is amazing and it’s secluded but still close enough to things to do. Johnny was very accommodating with my animals as one is special needs. My son loved this cabin as well.

#### Perfect

I booked this as a last minute stay for me and my pups. I would rate every aspect of this property and it's manager at five stars without question. I easily made my way up the well marked road (including in the rain) with a Mazda cx50. The view was beautiful, the property clean, secluded, and well stocked. There is very close proximity to hiking and mountain biking. The view from both the beds and the porch made morning coffee wonderful. My only comment would be that the stairs to the beds may be difficult for someone with physical disabilities, particularly if a walking aid is required. I'm excited to come back with my SO.

#### Weekend Get Away 11/18-11/21/2022

We were in town for a family reunion and decided to see what VRBO had available instead of a Motel and we are so glad we did. Views were spectacular! The driveway and the spiral stairs were an adventure the first time, but who doesn’t need an adventure and totally worth it. We enjoyed our stay very much!

#### Quick Trip

My son was home on leave so we took a quick trip to the mountains. This cabin has a beautiful view and the property was very clean. Johnny was very responsive.
