This breathtaking home is perched high above the Ellijay River. Once you arrive the first thing you will want to do is stop, take in the sounds of the rushing river, and breathe in the fresh mountain air... Pinch yourself, it’s hard to believe a place like this exists. Located in the Goose Island gated community in Cherry Log, GA conveniently nestled 15 minutes from Blue Ridge and Ellijay, GA. This custom built 6-bedroom cabin rental combines the “finer things in life” with “all the comforts”, resulting in a true mountain home experience that is sure to make your getaway in the North Georgia Mountains unforgettable. Over 1800 sq ft of open concept living on the entry level alone, this home will never feel crowded. Spending time with friends and family in the living room, which features a large stacked stone gas fireplace, soft couches and a 65” flat screen TV will be a joyful experience that you will treasure. Cooking is a pleasure in the fully equipped gourmet kitchen, complete with Viking stainless steel appliances and plenty of counter space. A large dining table accompanied by the kitchen bar will easily accommodate all your guests. The master bedroom is also located on the entry level offering a king bed, equipped with a 56” flat-screen TV and a private attached bathroom with a lovely double vanity and stone walk-in shower. The upper level offers two bedrooms with queen beds, flat-screen TVs, and share a spacious bathroom off the main hall. Lower level living is not to be missed at A Stoney River, with a large common area that is perfect for watching sport or movies with your guests on the huge 71” flat-screen TV. The layout is very open with lots of space to spread out. The large covered porches with TV's and fireplaces were a great place to relax. The kitchen is huge and was nice to cook in. Check in and out were also super easy. FYI for anyone looking to book, they do limit the number of vehicles to just 4 for this property, which isn't included in the listing. If you're having a large group visit, this may require some extra planning for carpooling since the house does easily sleep 12\. Positive: plenty of living space, large and well-stocked kitchen, great pantry, tons of TVs, beautiful outdoor living areas - great for pictures, plenty of blankets to cozy up! Recommendations: I would have liked having curtains in master bedroom as it has a sliding door to the outdoor living and one may want some privacy. Game area is in the garage and you have to walk through a bunk bedroom to get to it. For some reason, I didn't realize it from the pics or description. Directions that are sent recommending to avoid GPS: there's no need to complicate things - google and apple maps work just fine and bring you to the door. ##### Lola W. Just a few things that need to be updated or changed. The extra bedrooms had full beds and not queens. The kitchen ceiling leaked when it rained and the upstairs bathroom closet door came completely off the hinges when you opened it. The extra bedroom upstairs blanket that was in the closet hasn't been cleaned in awhile. It had dirt and blood on it. But overall i would stay again.. ##### Thomas H.
