We enjoyed the resort like atmosphere.

Wonderful place, similar to a resort. We would go there again in a second. We enjoyed spending the last leg of our honeymoon there and can't wait to go back for our anniversary.

ok hotel, showing it's age with stained carpet, stained comforter. Pleasant staff, good breakfast, easy to find.

Good value for a beautiful setting!

Posted 12-Aug-2015
Location: Near to Bayfield.
We had a large comfortable room with a king bed, jacuzzi, and beautiful lake view. The lake shore in Ashland has been cleaned up since we had been through about ten years ago, so we were pleasantly surprised by the setting.

Nice location, good dinner recommendation.

Pros: Location
Unkept entry. Could be much better with carpet fix , weeding in front of hotel, etc. things for sale should be put in store area. Very in inviting at entry. Very over priced with shabby towels and poor bedding with saggy mattresses. Would not stay again.

Excellent hotel, highly recommended

Posted 21-Jul-2015
Pros: Clean, neat rooms
Location: The hotel is on Lake Superior and near the Apostle Islands and Bayfield. Good touring and fishing. Be sure to sea the ice caves.
We stayed 2 days at the Ashland Americinn and had a great stay. The rooms were very nice and clean. Beds were just right. Pool and play area for children. Hotel staff were very knowledgeable and helpful regarding Ashland the the surrounding area.

Front desk lied when asked if there were rooms available facing the lake, was given rooms facing the lake when I complained about not having rooms next to each other. Breakfast was a long walk for a poor meal. Room smelled. Grounds not taken care of.
