Totally let down by this reservation. Upon entering the property I was told there was ongoing construction on the property and basically all amenities were off limits. I should have left right then. I decided to proceed with the stay figuring that it being a weekend construction would be non-existent or at least less. To my amazement, construction was going full force from 7am until 8pm on Saturday and the time I was there on Sunday! The hotel should show a little respect for their guests especially on a weekend. I could not even call down to the reception because my phone in room did not work. Adding to my displeasure was the hour long sound of something throwing up in another room, which the sound echoed through the vents from some other floor. Not an exciting sound to hear in the morning before breakfast. My last complaint, and probably most discusting, was that the first night I encountered 3 mosquitos at night. Two I was able to kill when I woke up throughout the night. The third actually went up my nose and bite and caused me to have a bloody nose, which got all over the blankets. Terrible and worrisome experience. I hope that I have not contracted anything from these mosquitos! The only credit I will give is to the staff and breakfast experience which I thought was excellent but was overshadowed by the constant construction noise and bugs!

Centrally located and clean facility with great service from staff. Did not like the charges for a bottle of water which in the outside market is 35 rupees and being charged 187 for a bottle of water in the restaurant. Breakfast was amazing.

Overall, it was a good experience but had some shortcomings which can become a deal breaker! They need to look into the check-in process for the local ID holders. I never had this problem anywhere else in Chennai. Service has been outstanding!

Overall pretty good
The hotel is in decent condition, though some areas are closed (The pool and rooftop lounge). This means your pretty much stuck to the room. Rooms are clean with good bedding. Toilet accessories are very good, though Towels need changing. Jonathan and Titli at the reception were very helpful and courteous. Asked for breakfast to be served in the room, which they obliged. Good dinner and breakfast menu, with a variety of Continental food.

I had a fantastic experience staying at Raintree Anna Salai.The hotel rooms are immaculate and well maintained. Buffet Breakfast was awesome and the staffs are very attentive in taking care of the customers. I would like to appreciate all the staffs especially Jonathan, Lomo and Karthick for their customer service, it was top notch. Definetely recommend this hotel.

Booked for business and wasn't allowed to meet anyone on the lobby or restaurant. The service team is very egotistic rather than professional. Restaurant seating didn't reveal reserve sign boards, but we're told they were reserved when we sat. Service crew doesn't bother about customer and rather gave embarrassing treatment. Wouldn't recommend this hotel and risk yourself if you want to stay.

The staff at reception and concierge were very polite and respectful. Kamal was very helpful and sincere in helping us during our stay. In the breakfast area, Lamo was an absolute superstar. She was so helpful and her coffee were the best. I will definately recommend friends and family. Christine

Friendly staff, comfortable stay. Room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was a little disappointing but can be overlooked. The hotel is in a good location and well maintained. The restaurant on the ground floor and the roof top restaurant serve good food.
