And cheap! Good choice Landed late at CTU and wanted a place close to the airport to crash after a long long day of travelling. They say it's a four star but that's a bit of a stretch, like had to get my numerous bags up to (and later next day back down) the room. But the room and bed were comfy and clean , would have no qualms about staying again. Didn't try breakfast or other services but small shops nearby great for Chinese "street food" style brekkie (shao long bao... Da vi ankommer til hotellet, får vi af vide af det vi har betalt kun er et depositum og at de skal have betalingen i kontanter da de ikke tager kort og et ekstra depositum. Alt dette foregår på en app og med meget besvær da ingen på hotellet snakket engelsk. Vi må derefter hele vejen tilbage til lufthavnen for at hæve og derefter tilbage på hotellet. Spild af penge. Selve hotellet var fint og renligt. So easy that I recommend it instead of taking a taxi, the taxi we had didn't have enough money to leave the airport lot and kept driving in circles. We made it to the hotel, and they did not accept major credit cards of the American kind. But the lady at the desk radioed the shuttle driving and he popped up behind the couch in the lounge with a lit cigarette and wearing a fur coat. He took us to the airport and showed us the ATM, and people got out of this dude's way...like he was VIP there. They brought us back to the hotel with fresh Yen and we got a room with a king sized bed for about $40 USD. I obliged. In the morning upon check out they refused to return my deposit saying that the room had not been prepaid (which it had). I spent close to an hour with Expedia customer support on the phone, and a Chinese translator that they patched in conveying to the incessantly rude hotel staff that the room was in fact prepaid. Eventually they did return the deposit. It was quite a terrible experience. This hotel has no sense of hospitality or courtesy for their guests. The support from Expedia was great, they got me my money back and gave me a future credit due to the experience. Expedia 5 stars. Since no one speak English,We had to use Google translator to communicate with the front desk. They told us they can take us on the shuttle to the airport to get cash from an ATM so we can pay them for the room plus extra deposit before we can check in. The room is not clean, We could not eat at the hotel since there was no English menu and nobody spoke the language, we could not find one restaurant outside either to eat that night. We travel often. Staff English was limited but with phone apps we communicated. All were friendly and diligent. breakfast is Chinese with little western food. Its not exactly a hotel for foreigners who can't speak Chinese either. Staff have very limited English. Its not easy to get from the airport alone, always be sure to call in before you get in as they have an airport shuttle to pick-up their guests (I was not told of this but thats because they probably didn't know how to tell me).
