"Excellent campsite, the perfect size for us as we are not a fan of large campsites. It is was fairly quiet and the accommodation (we stayed in a cabin) was clean, modern and reasonably well spaced. It was very well equipped and little items like a dish cloth and washing liquid ect just make the difference. It is just a really well done site. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend. Our 3 year old loved the pool."

"We stayed in the double room 2 adults and 2 kids The room is comfortable to sleep but there is no aircon - to note if you stay in summer. The bathroom has very nice local soap and smelled really nice. The breakfast had good local products. It’s quite simple but has enough choice. Eating dinner if you don’t book 3 month upfront he Michelin restaurant can be a challenge. Prepare yourself to have to drive around if you are not satisfied with what the village has to offer. The staff was very helpful in transporting our luggage from the car park to the room. You can have direct access to the abbaye to visit. It’s a beautiful place with amazing history I think it’s a great place to stay to especially if you like understated spaces, beautiful design, and minimalist / austere ambiance."

"A very enjoyable 4 days stay particularly as I was able to acquire a portable A/C unit from the very helpful reception staff - I arrived in 38C!! Located within walking distance of everything in beautiful Angers but very quiet as it’s in the University zone. There’s a supermarket minutes away as are lovely walks along the river to the château. The room itself was pristine and comfortable. Ticked all my boxes and hope to return again next year."

Wide selection of drinks offered as well as food had no need to leave to go elsewhere. Staff were friendly and informative."

"Nice room with en-suite. The shower was rather awkward to use as it did not have a high wall mounting but that was the only inconvenience we had. No a/c but a fan was provided although we bought our own small fans which were much quieter. Breakfast was fresh with lots of things to choose from. The central location was important to us as was the proximity of parking. The hotel car park was full on arrival but there are two public car parks one above and one below ground within a 5 min walk. We would happily return if staying in Angers again."

"10 stars would not be enough to rate one of our favourite places in the world! Everything was perfect. Our hosts - incredible. Every question answered quickly and clearly. Such a fabulous place to gather with friends and family to relax, eat and drink together, and tour the French countryside. Be sure to hire a car - so many things (caves, other chateaux, museums, mushrooms, etc.) are so close, but wheels are required!Our friends all loved it, and we hope to return one day. I miss it so much! We hope the Loire River and the Chateau Sainte Radegonde get rain soon!"
