Getting Around: Public transport is very limited in the village and I would advise you bring a car to explore the surrounding area. There is parking outside the house for 2 cars and further free street parking. Other Things to Note: We have several policies in place to ensure that all our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Please be aware that the charming character of our property includes steep stairs, so extra caution may be required, especially for guests with mobility concerns or young children. 🕓 Check-in is from 4:00 pm, and check-out is by 10:00 am. Early arrival or late departure may be available on request but is not guaranteed. 🧍‍♂️ The lead guest must be 25 years or older. Upper Slaugher is a relatively quiet little village, with easy access to everything you want to see in the Cotswolds (and we have been many times). The house is lovely, has a really nice kitchen and dining area, and a comfortable living room where we enjoyed the wood-burning fireplace. A small point but worth mentioning: communication from the owners/managers was particularly good. Only things to note is that there are a lot of uneven stairs, so it may be a bit harder for older guests or very small children. Access to two of the bedrooms requires caution to avoid bonking your heads (the rooms themselves are lovely). Also, a bit unusual: toiletries are not provided other than hand soap, so bring your own. Overall, a nice bolthole and a great jumping off point to enjoy the area. ##### J W L.
