On the ground floor, the open plan living/dining space has been stylishly and lovingly furnished and has a cosy log burner for the colder autumn and winter evenings. The fully equipped kitchen caters for your every need, a great space to rustle up a home cooked meal. The quaint garden is an ideal area to sit and have a morning coffee and plan the day ahead. Devon House Cottage is situated in a superb central location and within walking distance of the wide variety of local shops and eateries in Stow. Accommodation This two bedroom holiday cottage in Stow-on-the-Wold is perfectly suited for those looking to get together with family and friends, exploring the local countryside and its attractions. The accommodation is laid out as follows: Ground Floor Sitting room Wood burner, Smart TV with apps (account holders only), two-seater sofa, two chairs and selection of books Kitchen/dining room Electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine, cafetière and four-seater dining table Cloakroom Loo and basin First Floor Master bedroom with ensuite (Sleeps 2) King size bed, armchair, built-in wardrobes, chest of drawers, full length mirror, hairdryer, iron and ironing board Ensuite with shower, loo and basin Bedroom 2 (Sleeps 2) King size bed, two-seater sofa, freestanding wardrobe, chest of drawers and mirror Family bathroom Bath with overhead shower, loo and basin Outside Lawn, patio area with bistro table seating four, wooden bench, two wooden chairs, parasol and electric charging point The Finer Details.... Events are not permitted without prior consent A security deposit is required at this property Check in is from 16:00 and check out is by 10:00 The Stow Horse Fair is held twice a year, typically on the Thursday closest to 12th May and the Thursday closest to 24th October, however, we would recommend checking the exact date ahead of placing your booking. This is a traditional fair for gypsies and travelling people to meet up and trade which dates back to 1476 when its Charter was granted. Stow is very busy for a day or two before and after each fair, and a number of shops, pubs and restaurants are closed.
