This characterful Grade II listed property has an open plan sitting and dining area with a wood burner, the perfect setting to curl up around as the winter nights draw in. The plush, colourful bedrooms with original beams are a wonderful place to rest your head after a long day exploring the local area. Wren Cottage is also dog friendly! Accommodation This two bedroom holiday cottage in Stow-on-the-Wold is perfectly situated for those looking to delve into the Cotswold experience. The accommodation is laid out as follows: Ground Floor Sitting/dining room Two seater sofa, two armchairs, Smart TV, nested coffee tables, wood burner Solid oak dining room table with seating for four Kitchen Electric oven and gas hob, fridge with freezer compartment, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, cafetière, ironing board, iron and Hetty Hoover First Floor Master bedroom (Sleeps 2) Double bed, open wardrobe, hairdryer, dressing table with mirror and stool Bedroom 2 (Sleeps 2) Two single beds (can be super king size bed on request), open wardrobe, chest of drawers and mirror Family bathroom Rainfall shower with separate handheld shower attachment, basin, loo, heated towel rail and free standing full length mirror Outside Patio area The Finer Details The maximum occupancy for this property is 4 guests. Events are not permitted without prior consent A security deposit is required at this property Check in is from 17:00 and check out is by 10:00 The Stow Horse Fair is held twice a year, typically on the Thursday closest to 12th May and the Thursday closest to 24th October, however, we would recommend checking the exact date ahead of placing your booking. This is a traditional fair for gypsies and travelling people to meet up and trade which dates back to 1476 when its Charter was granted. Stow is very busy for a day or two before and after each fair, and a number of shops, pubs and restaurants are closed. Perfect location for strolling into town for shopping, restaurants etc. Plush bath & hand towels, well equipped kitchen. Could have provided small body wash lotions, shampoo and conditioners in the bathroom for guest use, but that’s a more minor point. A couple of plates & mugs were already chipped prior to our arrival, so that should be looked after better, prior to guest arrival.
